"I gotta get back to the chicken fight. I need to take on Zayne so he can..."

"Your match with Zayne and Jack comes later after all the other pairs had their turn. For now, why don't you come listen to some music with me?" Sage smiled sweetly as if she weren't the girl who just stole my towel only moments ago. I find it unfair that I still can't stay mad at her.

"Oh? What kind of beautiful music shall we make together?" I said jovially but kept my grip on my towel wary she might take it from me any second.

"I managed to get your favorite band, SEXPLOSION, to perform a show on the other end of the beach."

Did I hear her correctly? SEXPLOSION?! They were my favorite rock band for years now. It has always been a fantasy of mine to get called up on stage and play guitar with them. That's right ladies, I play guitar too. I'm just that cool. Anyway, what made this all the more awesome was that Sage cared enough about me to hire them for my birthday. How many strings did she have to pull? How much work did she have to put in to pull this off? Roping in a famous band to play at a beach party couldn't have been easy.

My heart was filled with so much love for Sage right now I not only forgave all the embarrassing things she did to me right in that instant I also swept her up into the air by her hips and brought her down to my face for another kiss. It was short but sweet and Sage didn't punch me in the face, so I took it as a good sign.

"Since you got me in this position, you're carrying me to the concert for the rest of the way." Sage smiled indulgently.

I did not forget that I had to do whatever she said because of the volleyball tournament. But this time, I was happy to fulfill her every desire. "As you command my lady." I spoke seductively as I cradled her in my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck and leaned against my pecs as I carried off this sexy woman to see my favorite band.
