Robyn and Aaron.

Aaron said, “The music is loud and bad, Steve will be loving it.”

Robyn smiled, “Then Emma is probably having a good time too.”

“Are you and Emma close?” he asked.

“Yeah, we go way back together. Best friends.”

“You two seem like such different people. It’s cool that you can get along so well.”

Robin shook her head. “Oh, we have fights over stuff all the time. Just tonight, we were arguing whether or not to come here or go to the party.” She grinned broadly, “I won.”

He smiled back. "I'm glad." He asked, "So you two always kiss and make up after a fight?"

She rolled her eyes, "You guys are all the same..."

He paused as what she said registered and then blushed, "Oh...whoops! I guess I let my Id do my talking for me there. Sorry about that. You must have guys coming up a trying to hit on the two of you all the time.”

“Not really. Most guys seem to go for Emma, so it’s not like it’s been an issue.”

“I find it hard to believe that most guys aren’t going after you.”

Robyn began to blush and Aaron said, “Oh great, now I’ve embarrassed you. I’m sorry…I just meant…uh forget I said anything. Let’s change the topic.”

Robyn watched as Aaron stumbled around the conversation. His head tilted and swayed in a cute boyish way. His eyes seemed to shine in the light of the streetlights as his gorgeous lips formed words. She could see that he was floundering and decided to save him. She leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

Aaron stopped abruptly, his eyes grew wide and he smiled. “Not that I mind, but can I ask what that was for?”

Robyn replied, “You may ask.”

He laughed. “Okay... what was that for?”

“You seemed a little lost there. That’s all.”

“You know... I'm stil a bit confused. I think I need another to help clear my head."
