How does Robin fare in her fight?
Robin bests the foul beast!
The troll's steps slammed powerfully into the ground beneath him, one after the next. With his mouth open wide and fangs bared in greedy rage, the sight of that monster would have been enough to send nearly anyone running, but Robin held her ground.
She raised the obsidian sword, ready it seemed to slash at the beast when he reached her, but then suddenly swung her arm forward, launching the blade at him with all her might! The dark stone weapon pinwheeled through the air, flipping over itself again and again until it clashed into the troll's shoulder
The beast let out a roar as the fragile material shattered on impact. The tip of the blade remained embedded in his shoulder, while the rest of the weapon shattered into dozens of tiny, razor sharp pieces--a rain of shrapenel which slashed across his flesh, burying itself in his face and neck.
He stumbled, arms falling back to pull desperately at the bits of stone, but his momentum was not about to be stopped, and the troll kept barreling forward, right into Robin's ready stance.
As he reached her, the troll's rage and lust found their target once more. He began to reach for her once again, but Robin was already moving. She dashed nimbly to the side, now wielding the spear in both hands, and as the troll tripped past her, she drove it downward, piercing his hand and pinning it into the floor below.
The troll bellowed in agony, but Robin wasn't finished yet.
"This ends here!" she said, running forward inside his reach. The troll's free arm wrapped around behind her, ready to pin the small girl against his chest, but Robin had already put her final attack into motion.
Her hands reached up, cupping together as the electric current she had been gradually building since the very start of the fight flowed between them, coalescing into one singular, powerful ball of lightning.
The troll's hand touched her back at the same instant that Robin slammed her hands forward, pressing her palm's against the monster's massive chin, and unleashing every last volt of lightning directly into his skull.
A breath passed.
Then the troll toppled over backward, smoke rising from his neck. His bulky hand pulled Robin down on top of him, and for a moment, it was unclear whether the victory was truly final.
"The Bravos are here!" Robin's voice came from under the troll's embrace. She rolled his arm off of her, then climbed to her feet, placing a feet on the prone creature's chest. "And we will be free!"
A troll defeated and honor avenged.
