Rise of the Commonwealth

Next day after the wedding, King Dukai and his envoys discuss with you about the union between his and your kingdoms. The discussion took a whole day but in the end, it's concluded with the formation of the Commonwealth of Akein and Gravadon. With such declaration, the citizens of both kingdoms are now practically living in the same country. This also means both states will have access to resources and cultures of one another as well. However, they will still being ruled by the different monarchs. While you're ruling Akein, your brother-in-law and your sister are the rulers of Gravadon. However, the Head of State is needed. So during the meeting, it has been decided that the Lord Chancellor of the Commonwealth will be the Head of State's title of the Commonwealth and the election will happen every five year.

With your sister is now taken care of along with the state's affairs, you turned your attention back to your sons. Once you talked with the royal messengers about the letters from your sons from the northwestern provinces, what she received are the reports from the magistrates from many districts in all three provinces instead. Each report said that the war between your sons have ravaged the countrysides, pillaging the towns, killing thousands of innocent peasants, turning hundreds of survivors into bandits. Back in the northwest, in the Taisha Province, which your eldest son ruled, many cities became ghost towns, roads filled with the deaths are now the common sight and the scavenging animals like the eagles and wolves now roamed the wastelands full of corpses. Those survived the onslaughts and massacres now either have to live the lives of nomadic bandits or died of starvation. The only city where business is still thriving and peoples are still living the regular lives are the provincial capital called Sivai itself. In the city's castle, your eldest son, James, is lying on his bed with the fatal wound at his left torso. Despite that the arrow is now removed from him, he is in no condition to lead his army. In the other province called Crotar, your youngest son, Charles, has come up with a plan to deal with his elder brothers once and for all. He decided to send an assassin to each of them and neither of them will be able to resist to let them near them!

"Are you two ready?" Charles asked the two assassins before him, who are none other but two beautiful young women in their 20's with long black hairs down to their shoulders. Despite that their orange dresses are covering their bodies, their curvy bodies can be hinted and their large round breasts at D-cup sizes can easily be identified, especially with the cleavages at the tops of their dresses. Both of them have black hairs and more than that, they are sisters and their names are Mary and Isabel.

"Always at your service, Your Majesty." Mary and Isabel said in unison as they bow before their prince.

"Then go." Charles said as he's turning his back on them and look out into the sky through his window's office.
