Return to Morniwo.

Upon arrival back in Morniwo, your nose tingles at the scent of delicious food. The sound of people chattering in the center of town attracts you towards it, and then you cast your eyes upon tables set up all around the statue that decorates the middle of the square. People are placing plates of food, and mugs of drinks, all while smiling and laughing amongst each other. They're raising a toast to Yaera, but when you show your face, she motions them to turn around. You and Amara are greeted warmly. They invite you to sit and rest after a long, exhausting day.

The dinner consists of various things found in the forest. Boar, deer, and other meats, but many salads with berries and different fruits and vegetables. It's all plated beautifully, and it tastes just as good.

"You will always be welcome back here," speaks an elven woman sitting nearby. "Of course Ms. Tedrilui's daughter would be just as selfless as her mother. Eat your fill, and rest for the night, so that you may depart in good health."

"Thanks," you respond. "This is more than I expected. Did we really do that much?"

"We did save their hot spring," Amara says.

"And whether you think so or not, that witch was not weak," Yaera explains.

Another elf looks between the mother and daughter. "The two of you remind me of the founder of Morniwo." And then his eyes cast up to the statue nearby. "She was a beautiful, kind, but strong woman, or so the stories say. That was long ago."

Yaera turns to an elven man walking towards the table, as if she knew he was coming. He walks straight up to Amara and takes a knee. In his arms is a pile of neatly folded clothing.

"What is this?" Amara asks.

Her mother smiles. "A gift from me and others here. Something new to wear. I hope you like it."

She gasps. "Oh! I will try it straight away!" After taking the clothes in her own arms, she hurries away to a place where she can change.

It isn't long before she returns, and she walks straight up to you.

The dress isn't a vast change from her previous garb, though you can tell straight away that it's made from much finer materials, and with far more attention to the craft. It's pure white, so much so that it's radiant under the light of the sun. All around it is an intricate silver and blue trim made so fine that you can barely tell it consists of hand-stitched vines and leaves until you lean in closer. The sleeves puff out at the wrist--a subtle flower-like flourish. Alike her last dress, it's rather modest by this empire's standards. It doesn't show off an ample amount of cleavage nor does it end with a tiny skirt. Though the thin, white fabric hugs her slim elven figure in a way that makes it even more alluring to not see more. The most provocative addition is that the dress has a cut up the outer side along each leg up to her thighs, making the bottom half of the dress mostly just cover the front and back of her body. Though it isn't cut high enough to see her panties. And around round her waist, she has a silver and blue belt to hold her satchels.

What catches your attention the most isn't the dress, surprisingly. She now has a hat! It's a nurse's cap decorated with a silver and blue heart on the front. Rather, the kind of cap you see as part of a nurse Halloween costumes, or in anime, instead of something real nurses actually wear. It makes her look incredibly cute. Her feet are covered by the same shoes as before, though all in all, it's like a whole new Amara. It all matches the choker surprisingly well too. She looks like a combination of a cute nurse and a fantasy cleric. She holds onto her silver staff self-consciously as you look her over.

"... Absolutely adorable," you say. "You look amazing."

She blushes and smiles. "Thank you. It is very soft as well."

The evening proceeds. After eating and winding down, you and Amara are given a room to stay in for the night. Separate beds, but you're still together. When you enter, she's already tucked in with her magical nightgown worn beneath the covers. You sigh as you throw your backpack onto the ground at the foot of your bed and dig out your own pajamas. You change, and watch Amara lay back with the quilt over her eyes as you do.

With a tap of your hand, the bedside lantern goes dark. You crawl into bed and let the soft cushions embrace your back.

The soothing sound of distant animals in the nearby woods is surprisingly relaxing. Wind whistles between the branches. You peek over in the darkness to Amara, but she's not moving at all, besides her chest slowly rising up and down, and you can make out the quiet noise of her soft breaths. It looks like she's already fallen asleep. After such a day, and draining all of her mana, you're not surprised.

Half of the ingredients found. So what's the next move?

As long as the rest of the party can find and slay a violet spider, that only leaves a wyvern remaining. Then you just need to find a craftsman who is up to the task of crafting such an arrow, and after that...

We have to march to the Demon King's castle. Somehow, we need to get as much help as possible, and have them all meet up together. Then we start heading up the mountains I guess. There's no saying who we'll even get to help us. Everyone is everywhere. William said he would help, but he's a mystery.

You start drifting away.

Who is even left out there... That Faceless thing Rabbit Foot and I fought, I wonder if it's related to anything. RF did say her mother was in talks with someone, and I helped her find stuff out, but I never heard back about that. Maybe that's entirely unrelated though. Not everything involves Sa'dis. We know we'll have to deal with Ithic, and there's Sa'dis himself, but is there anyone else? We've dealt with everyone we've been told about and even some we weren't. I don't think we really can do anything else.

Finally, you fall asleep.
