I decided I would just go back home. I'd go over my materials again and see if I made some kind of mistake. As I walked back into my apartment and found that all the lights where on.....that's weird.....I could have sworn that I had turned them off when I left. I entered cautiously. "Is there someone in here?" "Yes, I'll be right out." My eyes widened! Someone was in my apartment. I ran towards my room where the voice had come from and to my walk in closet. The person inside shocked me.

It was.....me.....or someone who looked like me. She was wearing a sparkling red evening gown that I had bought on a whim not to long ago. She looked at me and smiled. She was wearing freshly applied makeup and lipstick. I couldn't help but think to myself how pretty I....she was.... "Why Nova Girl. What a pleasant surprise." I shook my head, coming back to my senses. "Copycat I persume." She giggled. "A beauty and a brain. It's no wonder you where able to figure out where I was going to be. I beat you thought I was going after the Sargent's Chicken recipe tonight didn't you." Ha. I was right. "To tell you the truth I was but when I got home last night and saw that I had stolen the face of none other than Veronica James." "How the hell did you do that?" She got up and started looking through my cloths. "Oh, I was born with a weird ablity. Whenever I ingest someone's DNA, I become that person. It can be anything. A bit of hair, blood, a bit of siliva." She looked at me and blew a kiss. I touched my lips. "So that's why you kissed me." "Yes, I could resist peeking under that mask of yours. Which is easy to do when the face is mine."

I glared at her. "So what's your plan. Going to **** me into staying off your case." She looked at me playfully. "Now why would I do that to a no name heroine who doesn't even have any powers." She started towards me. "No, I plan on stealing something from you." I crossed my arms. "What would that be?" She continued forward. "You're life." My blood ran cold. "You're going to kill me....and take my place?" She threw her head back in laughed. "I told you last night sweety, I don't like blood. However, I do intend to take your life as well as continue my current lifestyle. In order to do that, I'm going to need to keep you alive so I can turn back into you after a capper." I started backing up.....this was bad. I needed to do something before things got out of hand. I could try to take her out but maybe I should make a run for it. Go to the police.
