Responsibility

Turning into a snake was not exactly something that You could really get used to, at least You didn't think it would be, but after some time with Namina, doing your best to slither alongside the adorable mahogany cat that Mina turned into "Come one You can move faster than that Boss!" She urged, her crimson eyes watching You struggled to catch up with her form which blurred with vampiric speed across the room, Your spasming serpentine body rocketing behind her. You weren't even sure how quickly You had been moving, the two of you darting around like crazy before You finally succumb to exhaustion, every muscle in Your snake body aching deeply

"T-Time out... I'm dying... god thisss isss difficult." You hissed, halting in place, tongue nipping at the air as Mina paused in front of You "I'm sssorry, but if I dart around anymore then my ssspine is going to fly out." You rested Your little black head on the floor.

Mina twisted back up into her Humanoid form, leaning against the wall with a deeply satisfied look on her face. You weren't exactly sure what she was grinning about... or what Rose and Cleo look so shocked for, all You knew is that Your bones hurt and You would need a minute before turning back into a person again.

"I Told You He wouldn't notice," Rose said, sinking a glass of blood-red Merlot as she nodded towards Cleo, who looked utterly dipped in shock

"By the Blood God... How does a snake move that fast?" Cleo asked Namina twirled girlishly on the spot, her sequin dress fluttering as she did

"Because I am the BEST TEACHER OF ALL TIME!" Mina proclaimed, clicking her fingers at You and winking "Oh and He's a Superior, that probably has a hand in it." She added quickly and quietly "seriously though, You are scary fast and quiet if You keep that kind of training up and You'll be able to stretch Your abilities even further! doesn't that sound fun!?"

Looking up at her with beady back eyes, You had recovered just enough to flange Your body back into its original shape, twisting and spiralling until You could stand on Your feet, hands-on Your knees as You attempted to catch a breath that You didn't need. You weren't sure if You would ever enjoy that, it felt like stuffing Your body into a Vacuum pipe, although, flying around like that was exhilarating and of course, You had watched kung fu panda, being a ninja Snake could be pretty handy when push came to shove.

"O....Okay, alright then...sorry. God that feels weird. so what? You're saying that I could do more than just be a very fast and very strong snake?" You asked after joining Rose at the table, the Redhead resting her head on Your shoulder absent-mindedly as Cleo frowned at the sight.

"Oh, of course, it's all about pushing the boundaries, Boss, the more You get used to being a snake, the more You will be able to change:" Mina began to count on her fingers "Changing Your size and weight, Making Your poison more potent, adapting qualities like the hardness of Your scales or the sharpness of your senses. I've even heard of Vampire's that switch the species of animals they are, but I'm sure that's just hearsay." she said, rubbing her chin cartoonishly, You raised an eyebrow

"You realise that nearly every rumour I've heard about vampires are completely True-"

"HEARSAY! HEATHENS WITH WICKED TOUNGES AND DAMAGED BRAINS, THINKING THAT THEY ARE BETTER KITTY'S THAN ME, NO ONE IS A BETTER KITTY THAN ME, NOR IS THERE A BETTER RECEPTIONIST, FOR I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA OF RECEPTION KITTEN CARE, A GODDESS OF FELINE, I AM.... I.... i.... um...." Namina most likely realised that she was acting crazy, looking over to You and the girls who fixed her with confused and slightly concerned eyes.

Mina cleared her throat and straightened out, laughing nervously "Sorry, I've ur... not been on two legs in a while, there's this stray next to the fishmonger in town, the sneaky fucker keeps stealing the leftover tuna that gets thrown out every Thursday." She explained like that was totally not weird. Looking at her now, You kinda saw that she was a little off, she kept twitching and she was hunched over a little like her hands longed to touch the floor.

"Mina, can I have a word with You, alone?" You asked, smiling weakly as she immediately stepped forward

"Yeah, sure that would be awesome, let's go over there, where no one can see us, just the two of us, alone." She whispered, pulling You by the arm towards the lounge where she sat You down, placing herself close by Your side, smiling girlishly as You rubbed Your eyes "Okay... alright, she is very weird, but I can deal with very weird." You reminded Yourself.

"So, Namina, Ummm, are You alright, like You seem really.... unfocused." You asked, stepping carefully with Your choice of words, She shrugged nonchalantly, twirling her dark hair in her fingers as her ruby red eyes flickered at You

"Yeah I guess you're right, I'm really sorry about that, Boss, I... I haven't really been, what's the word... Humanoid, for a long while. I kinda... got fired from all of my receptionist jobs, then... I may or may not have been kicked out of my apartment, but it's nothing to worry about, I promise!" She assured casually, grinning at You as the Beast roared with an unparalleled rage

"YOU WHAT!?" You said, grasping her by the shoulders and shaking her "Where the hell are You living, how are You eating, no wonder You're acting weird, You've been a cat for ages!" You scorned feeling slightly responsible for robbing her and the others of their home. Mina merely shrugged again, her eyes staring suggestively as You frowned

"It's not a big deal, I found this crazy cat lady in Oldtown, she's old and her blood is a little gross but it's a roof over my head..." What the fuck, why was she so cool with this, You weren't even nearly cool with this... You wondered how many more of Your follower struggled right now, this would have to be dealt with.

"Oldtown? that shithole on the Northside? no, okay no, just no. You are staying, here until I sort out some Clan business then I am paying for an apartment for You until I can house more of You guys in the Manor... hmm, I'll have to expand the plans on the place, oh well, nothing a shit tone of money won't solve!" You said resolutely, making a mental note to talk to the Head builder before nightfall to further customise the Plan for the Manor.

Namina looked at You, blinking with surprise, You didn't really notice, to busy coming up with a game plan for the Manor to not be surprised when she wrapped her arms around You, hugging You in a deadlock as she nuzzled her face into Your broad shoulder "T-That's... That's like, super nice of You, like really, really nice of You..." She pulled back looking at You with her large eyes now the colour of an emerald sea of summer green rather than blood red "What's the catch? You gonna **** me or something, am I gonna have to suck and fuck You every day until I repay my debt, oh oh I know, I'm gonna have to be a Sex **** aren't I, I knew You pictured me in a **** Leia outfit the moment You saw me!?" You clapped Your hands on her cheeks, staring with a genuinely concerned look on Your face

"No, fuck no... I mean... that sounds, awesome, like really sexy actually, but No, Youdonothavetodothat." You blinked, the Nerd buried deep inside the recesses of Your black soul couldn't help but succumb to the kryptonite that was Namina in a **** Leia outfit. She seemed to pick up on it, her body drawing closer, bumblebee style cardigan pressing against You as she grinned coyly

"Oh... I may not have too, but it doesn't mean I won't? I mean, You are my Master, a very sexy, handsome kind Master, and seeing You with the Inquisitor and even Cleo is making me a little jealous... Grr You have no idea how cute You are, You're like a really murderous Disney Prince or something." She whispered, her sharp fingers running across Your skin as her tongue lapped her lips.

Namina was weird, she dressed like the daughter of an Otaku and children's television show presenter, She acted like she sniffed catnip 24/7 and outside of her being a Feline Polymorphus, a Receptionist and a former Gerix You didn't know much about her... but damn, was she alluring in her ADHD kind of way.

"Will You hurry up and Kiss me, I'm starting to get nervous and when I'm nervous I get Hangry, and I don't want to get blood on my bumblebee cardigan, and-" You cut her off by pressing Your lips against hers, the Cat girl's plump lips parting to accept Your tongue, Her purring moan vibrating in Your mouth as she pulled back slightly "Wow, that was, ahem, Rose isn't going to kill me is she?" She asked, justifiably, but You shook Your head

"Nah, she's cool with polygamy, no need to worry... unless You anger her, I wouldn't do that." You warned playfully, Mina smiled evilly, poking You with her sharp nail

"You sir, are going to do some dirty, dirty things to me, but, the Clan comes first, go do what You have to do and we'll have a little fun later? feed this kitty some milk maybe?" She asked with a knowing smile, You bit Your lip, nodding absently while trying to pay attention to the tasks at hand

"Right, I... should go and talk to the builders about alterations..." You said, standing with Namina where the two of You brushed off

"Yeah, of course, Clan comes first." she nodded to herself as You cleared Your throat, the Cat Girl patting You on the shoulder encouragingly

"Absolutely, I know that." You agreed weakly, folding your arms as the two of You looked at each other, taking in the intense aura

"Do You? Do You know that?" Namina stepped towards You, looking up with those big green eyes of hers, and then it came again, an explosive embrace triggered by the catgirl jumping into Your arms and mushing her face against Yours, her hands searching aimlessly around your nape for nothing as You tumbled to the ground, tasting of each other so harshly that You barely even felt your back hit the floor.

"Ahem..." Jumping back with Her vampiric speed, first Namina then You got up to see who had entered, Mina's lipstick smudged on her face... and yours. Rose's expression was blank as she approached, paying the very nervous looking Namina no mind as Rose touched Your face lightly "the Builder's will leave soon, You should speak to them before that." Rose said, her thumb wiping Namina's lipstick away as she smiled lightly, Your eyes flickered to Namina, she was very obviously scared, but a comforting hand on her shoulder from You seemed to calm her some

"Okey dokey, Let's get to it then, I have some Idea's cooking that our friend might be interested in." You put tactfully, walking with your arm around Rose who stuck close, while Namina, still worried that Rose might pull her heart out through her ass, kept her distance. It was time to work for the clan, You knew that now, not just Yourself, but make things better for everyone, as was, of course, the responsibility of Lord Nox.
