Resistance

"I don't deserve happiness," Mira said slowly, her eyes brimming with tears. "And even if I did, I wouldn't pay this price." She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "I shall atone for my numerous sins. I will endure whatever you do... as long as I can."

"Endure?" Marus scoffed, his patience wearing thin. "You must be a fool." Somehow, the mortal's resistance was enraging him. "I will get what I want," he growled, "You will become my toy, my obedient servant." He paused, allowing his words to sink in before adding, "You can only choose between an easy way or a hard way."

A weird, stubborn smirk curled Mira's lips. "I have been told the easy way is always wrong." Defiantly, she reached for the silver bell and rang it again. "I want more, Marus! Send me your minions to **** me... again!" Her voice wavered slightly on the last word, but her determination remained unwavering.

Indeed, she wanted more. But it wasn't lust that the potion had kindled within her. Neither this time did Mira plan to resist. She had long since lost any value she once placed on protecting her honor, and now, she felt as though she deserved more punishment. She wanted... no, craved to be **** again.

As for Marus, he was both intrigued and irritated by this woman. Her defiance reminded him of the cunning general leading an opposing army he already dfeated. But now, in her current state, she presented entirely new challenges as his future servant. He wasn't sure who or what he should send next to this unusual woman, nor was he certain of the strategy he should employ against her.
