Reshin

Deciding that any of the villages was as good as any other, Venus took the path to the right headed for Reshin Village. She wasn't sure what to expect when she got there, but Reshin was farther than the other villages and it took a day and a half travel time.

The path was long and winding, and she was glad she had decided to pack away her armor. The dress was light and helped her to stay cool as she marched down the path. Years of fighting and travel had made her muscles toned and her body tight and shapely. Although any man would lust for her, it was clear that she had some kind of special training that anyone could tell from watching her move.

She was enjoying the the wind in her hair and the view of the setting sun when she got close enough to see the village. And to hear the screams. She couldn't run in the dress, but tried to pick up her pace. Vampires were creatures of the night, and the sun was going down, but she had trouble believing that this was the vampire's work.

She saw one of the buildings burst into flames in the distance and hoped she could arrive in time.
