Report to the bridge

You let go of Alexandria Fox and get out of the bed.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"I only have a few minutes left before my first shift."

"You were like this in the academy too. Visit me often. Okay?"

"Don't you worry." You say zipping up your pants and planting a kiss on her forehead. "Computer, end program."

The bedroom and Alexandria faded from existence and you were left in the empty holodeck with your shirt uniform folded neatly on the ground. You put it on and leave the room for the turbolift to bring you to the bridge.

The turbolift doors open at your stop to the bridge and you are immediately greeted with a beautiful view of Earth on the viewscreen. A few bridge officers were working at their various consoles for the pre-flight check while Captain Miller and her first officer were sitting in their respective chairs having a casual conversation.

You step further onto the bridge and notice your nightmare is sitting at your console. Dr. Lo was no doubt still trying to prove your designs a failure with her scowl of rage.
