Relax By The Fairy Fountain.

"I suppose the fairy fountain would be best," saria told herself. she wandered off the path and made her way towards the fairy fountain. The fountain had been there as long as the great Deku tree and was essential in the creation of the Kokiri village. Saria often dropped by the fountain on washing day. It allowed her to avoid the others for a while and gave her a private place to relax.

Saria stopped in front of a large unopened flower. She tapped on the flowers shell, and the flower burst open in a shower of fairy dust. a large fairy emerged from inside and threw her arms outwards. the fairy gasped, the propped herself on top of her hands. "ah, saria." she exclaimed in her usual calm tone. "have they put you on wash day duties again?" "they did indeed" saria replied, stepping into the flowers watery pond. The water was always warm and helped saria to relax. "the other Kokiri's have no courage. you are the only one to venture out like that" saria giggled, and sank into the warm water. Saria sighed, and let the water cover her body. steam rose up from the surface, helping her to hide her body. "I thought you usually waited until everyone else was done to wash your clothes. what's the change?" the fairy asked. "my clothes were filthier than everyone else's, so I thought they would need longer to clean" the fairy nodded, and smiled. "do you need anything to cover up with?" saria looked down, and nodded. "I will see what I can find" the fairy stepped out of the pool, and started looking for leaves. "I'll go ask the great Deku tree" saria nodded, and the fairy flew away, leaving saria alone. She smiled and closed her eyes.

After a while, Saria awoke. the fairy pointed down to two korok leaves, and smiled. "that's the best I can do" the fairy explained. saria smiled and grabbed the leaves. they were large leaves, wide at the top with long thin stems. she held one leaf over her front, and the other at the back. she tied the two leaf stems together around her waist, holding the leaves in place. "are they alright?" saria nodded, and smiled. "better than being nude" the fairy laughed. "well, I will probably see you next week" the fairy said, waving saria off. She passed through the wall and appeared back on the pathway towards the Kokiri village. she looked down at her makeshift outfit and smiled.

"hey, great Deku tree?" saria called. the great Deku tree looked down, and chuckled. "been to the great fairy fountain, I see" saria looked down and chuckled. "I have indeed. thank you for the leaves" the great Deku tree smiled, and the fairies loaded the bundles onto the wagon. "your clothes are not quite done yet, but I'm sure that won't be a problem" saria grabbed the handle of the wagon and made her way back to the Kokiri village. she dropped each of the bundles outside of everyone's house, then headed back to her own. she closed the curtains and thought of what to do next. "I could do some tidying, but I also feel like taking a short nap."
