Recover Eva.

You draw your sword, and with Amara, cautiously walk through the winding alleyway. There's little noise from anything but your footfalls, and her silver staff tapping against the ground. "Mischievous little demons. They like to tease and torment their prey."

Amara's sudden screech of terror causes you to jump. Three gremlins out of nowhere have wrapped themselves around her body. Using their razor-sharp claws, they cut clean through her white dress. You jab forwards with your sword, and impale one of them. It bursts into a cloud of black smoke, but the others escape. They leap away with her clothing in-hand, and disappear above.

"The nerve!" she says, red starting to fill her face. "Of all ways to attack me..."

"Another!" you shout. As it leaps, you pivot on your feet and slice it clean in half. Just like the other, it dissipates.

"They are too fast," Amara says. "I cannot cast in time."

"Look out!"

A single gremlin dashes out from behind some old crates. It slices and snatches Amara's panties, and dashes away.

"We need to run and find a better place to fight these things."
