You hear her whisper "Thank you, master." Her father lets out a growl and glares at you. You however don't deign him a response. You have enough to think about now so you don't need to talk to him anymore. With a smirk you send him "You are dissmissed." He coughs and his two men, who you sent the message too, look at eachother suprised. Your rangeress can't stop a small giggle from coming out. He lets out a grunt and rushes through the door.

"You shouldn't tease him like that." you hear Rachel saying after a while. "Silence." one of the men at the door says. "Leave her, be." you send him in the menacing tone. He smirks but other than that shows no emotion, he knows that you have no power in your hands against him without your magic.

He himself shakes his head in disbelief before saying "Even if it were true, we don't know for certain it is him and if he will continue where he left off." The elven girl in front of them asks "But it didn't really happen did it?" The dwarf looks at her while saying to the mermaid "I forgot how few actually know what happend." After hearing this the girl on the ground looks even more puzzeld. The dwarf says "I can't really talk about it, all I know is from second hand information too, the one who maybe would know is your master though, he might be able to tell you"

This causes the girl to cry once more, not that any tears come out only choughed sobs escape her lips, since her eyes are already dried up. Rake takes her in his arms again. He hears that his companion (which I realize still has no name, but I can't copy too much from the show that gave me the idea for the mermaids or you know that I watch teenage-drama-romances, well fuck now you know anyway, still not telling you though) behind him growl. The nature of her being leaves not much room for empathy, which makes the partnership that those two have even weirder, but that much more enjoyable. He creates a bit of space between the girl he is consoling and himself. He looks her up and down. Looking doeyed up at him. He starts to stroke his beard before deciding "We are going to rescue your friends and your master, little one, I would like to have a talk with him." The vixen behind him laughs and says "I doubt you can change his ways, Rake, you are only one man." This causes him to laugh and say "Well lets at least try."

Apparently some guys from Marketing tried to pull the plug on the servers, which just led to a starteling discovery that, well, that the servers stayed online only that players everywhere were complaining about rising latency issuses. So they put the plug in again. How that would ever be possible the man dosen't understand. The next report is about two people who were found the same way as his daughter was, slumped over their computers and in a coma. The company managed to keep it under wraps, but it was enough to cause him worry, his programmers had assured him though that they had everything under control. With a last look he gazes at his phone, where a message from his ex-wife blinks, she wants to know how her daughter is doing at camp, not that he would care to much about Rachel right now, he has bigger problems.
