Quirk Assessments

Ashido and I both rush outside and join the rest of the class. I stand next to Iida and he notices I’m late entrance again. “You really need to get better acquainted with the school. This tardiness is unacceptable.” I look at the calve of his legs and see the engines sticking out. Must be easy to get place on time when you have flames coming out your legs.

I ignore his comment though. “What did I miss.”

“Mr. Aizawa is testing our quirks. Seeing how we perform in different test. The person who score the least is kicked out of the class.”

What that’s crazy. Classes just started but it will also end for one of us. I was determined to make sure I wasn’t the one sent home. For the 50-meter dash I did a series of shadow dashes. I use my darkness power to become a shadow and dash forward about 10 meters. I finish it in just over 5 seconds. For the ball throw I use a light beam to carry the ball about 570 meters. For the long jump I hold concentrated darkness into my palm and use them to float to almost triple my normal distance. Every other test I score about average. I did enough to ensure I wasn’t the one being sent home.

After the results were posted, I was surprised. I did a lot better than I expect. I score in the top 5. Although I was thrilled with my results, it looked like Midoriya was going to be the one sent home. Even after getting a 700 on the ball throw, his score was still the lowest. Its probably cause he chose not to use his quirk but once. Then again after one use his finger was broken. I feel bad for him. He seemed like a nice guy. Before anyone can really process what is happening, Mr. Aizawa broke the tension by saying “No one is getting expelled, it was just a clever way to make sure you gave it your all.” Everyone in the class was stunned everyone except Momo Yaoyorozu who claimed to know it from the beginning.
