Questions and surprises

You and Mason exchange puzzled glances as he shakes her hand. "What does the Boston Globe care about who teaches at a private school," he asks.

"Not just a private school, Mr. Carter. One of the most exclusive private girl's schools in the country. The place that has graduated the daughters of the elite for over a century and a half. That's news, especially after last year's events."

Once again Mason looks at you in confusion. You shrug and shake your head, having no idea what she's talking about. The reporter looks at you both with a frown for a moment, then shakes her head.

"You're serious. You really don't know do you? Well let's get out of here and find a more private spot and I'll bring you up to speed." She stands up and slings her purse over one shoulder and looks at the two of you.

"Coming?" she asks.
