The Cyclops
Difficulty Rating: 3

The reward is kinda low, but it says here that cyclopses in this world almost always guard treasure, kinda like a dragon's hoard. The only thing they want is an eye. Guess it's some kind of weird alchemy thing. It also says the eye only has to be mostly intact. It'll take all day to get there and back, but maybe it'll be worth it.

"Hey Eva. What do you think of this one?" you ask.

She walks over and scans her eyes up and down the slip of paper pinned to the board. "Hmm. Well, besides what it says here, a cyclops is almost always alone, so it could be either easy or difficult depending on how we approach it. I don't know that much more about them, other than that they have a single eye that can penetrate all darkness. Though it's also often considered its weak-point as well."

"Guess that's why it says mostly intact. They must know what an adventurer would do. But is a cyclops really only rated three?"

"They're strong but slow. I imagine if there were more known threats around, or if it were farther away in a more dangerous place, the rating would be higher."

"Well, I think we've got ourselves today's quest."

Niki swings her mace around in front of her. "I could throw down with a giant today. Consider me interested."

"It says it is in the hills northeast of here. If we are to go, we should leave promptly," Amara explains.

"All right." You gesture your party to follow. "Let's get this done, and find some treasure while we're at it."
