Pull your boots free

Shit. Both of your feet are stuck, and this thing on the ceiling is continuing to shoot that weird sticky substance at you! You duck to avoid another glob flying towards your head and determine yourself to get unstuck before the next one flies in.

You brace yourself on the ground, setting your hands on each side of your stuck right boot, and push as hard as you can. To your dismay, it doesn't even budge an inch! You gather yourself and try again, but still no luck. Unfortunately while you were focusing on freeing yourself, the enemy on the ceiling shot another sticky glob at you, and it lands directly on your shin, gluing your leg to your boot! You look up just in time to watch another shot land on your leg. You get back up, helpless to avoid each glob of sticky slime attaching to your legs.

Soon, you are covered up to your knees in the sticky stuff. You are left standing there, your legs planted in place, encased in this strange, sticky fluid. The thing on the ceiling, seemingly satisfied in immobilizing you, skitters off down the hall, leaving you alone but unable to move at all.
