Professor Dove

"Professor Dove?" You ask as the curvy brunette from orientation walks towards you. The moonlight perfectly captures her voluptuous figure, squeezed tightly into a sweater dress and thigh high boots.

"What are you doing out so late? Curfew was nearly two hours ago." She asks.

"I'm sorry mam." You scramble to come up with an excuse. Before you're able to think of any, Harmony's familiar voice enters your mind.

"Tell her you were collecting fireflies!" Harmony's voice echos in your skull.

'No that's stupid." You say aloud.

"Excuse me?" Professor Dove asks.

"Fireflies!" You shout, caught off guard. "I was collecting fireflies for an Illuminati bracelet."

"Illumination." Harmony corrects you.

"I mean Illumination bracelet, mam."

"You expect me to believe you're out in the middle of a field at midnight, collecting fireflies to make a sparkly bracelet?" The professors eyes you suspiciously.

"Yes, mam."

"You must have a very special lady in your life for you to risk penalizing your house's status by being out here past curfew making her a pretty piece of jewelry." She notes.

"Yes mam, I apologize it was a stupid decision on my part." You bow your head in shame hoping she lets you off the hook.

"And if I'm not mistaken, that special lady of yours is standing right between the two of us. Before you're able to react she pulls a wand from her waist belt and flicks it at the space between the two of you. A startled Harmony materializes as the professor negates the magic of her cloak. A mortified Harmony starts to explain herself but the professor cuts her off. "I'm disappointed in you Ms Ashcroft. You've always been considered such a model student. Yet your hormones seem to have gotten the better of you. Now head straight for your dorm before I assign Phoenix house a severe demerit." Harmony's pained eyes meet your gaze briefly before she runs back in the direction of her dorm. "You're lucky I was on patrol tonight. Any other faculty member may have simply written up the two of you, but I'm going to take it easy on you."
