Xander confidently walked into city hall. There were two men, obviously vampires, guarding the elevator.

"Did you order take out?" one of them asked the other.

"I have a meeting with the Mayor," Xander said confidently as he stepped forward. "You are going to want to send me up to see him and then tomorrow take a nice walk in the sun."

They looked at him confused for a moment. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

Xander opened his mouth to give the statement one more time, when he had a sudden, frightening realization. The Sunnydale Effect, where people regularly believed crazy things were just normal gangs, didn't affect the crazy things; the vampires. The spell must only affect humans.
