Part 6
"The beach?!" April squeaked, her face redder than a tomato, "No, no, no, no, no! My brother and his lame LARPing friends are there tonight!"
"WHAT?!" Aggie shrieked at April in terror, "I am NOT letting your brother and his band of losers see me naked!"
"Well, you don't really have a choice here, Aggie." I said with a shrug as I pulled into the parking lot of the beach and handed Katherine my jacket, which she accepted gratefully before sliding it on.
"But what about me?!" April whined as she sunk low into her seat, "It's one thing if Kyle sees Aggie naked, but I'm his sister!"
"Oh well." I said with a shrug as I got out of the car. Surprisingly, Katherine got out as well, my jacket looking like a slightly short dress on her. I silently thanked my older brother for being bigger than me as we waited for Aggie and April to step out of the car.
Once they did, Katherine grabbed both Aggie and April's hands, walking along with me as we lead them towards the beach. I could see Aggie fuming in rage as April was hyperventilating, repeatedly muttering "No" as Katherine pulled them along. It looked like maybe she would try and strike me, so I kept a safe distance between us.
It wasn't long before the three of us came upon a strange sight. A large group of young adults lounged around on beach towels, drinks in their hands, talking and laughing. But there was more than just the eighteen-year-olds that didn't seem quite normal about this group.
For starters, the eighteen-year-olds were all dressed like they walked right out of either The Legend of Zelda or The Lord of The Rings. They wore tan pants, a dark tan tunic, and a leather belt. On their feet were a pair of well worn sandals.
I could see Kyle Young, April's twin brother, sitting on a chair as he mingled in character with two other members of his group: a man dressed like an assassin and a woman dressed like some kind of cross between an elf and an orc. I recognized Kyle from my American History class. I also spotted Kyle's girlfriend, a short, cute girl with long red hair who was dressed in-character as a dwarf warrior.
I knew that this party was going to be in for quite the shock in a few seconds as I turned to both the humiliated Aggie and traumatized April.
"Time to get going girls!" I stated before delivering a swat to both of their naked butts, Aggie's being much harder as they simultaneously yelped and ran down the beach towards the water, unwillingly getting the attention of the party as Katherine and I stood back and watched the show.
"Who dares to interrupt the victory party of - SWEET BABY J!" Kyle called out, only to do a double take when he saw what was going on, "April?! What are you doing?!"
April could only squeal in embarrassment as she dove into the water with Aggie. Meanwhile, the rest of the party-goers stared in confusion as if not knowing how to react. Kyle was the first to break the silence.
"Seriously, April?!" Kyle snapped, "I ask you several times to be an actor in our campaigns, and you immediately flip me off. And the one time I don't ask you to come to one of our campaigns, you crash it anyway just so you and your friend can go streaking and skinny dipping?!"
"I didn't WANT to do this, Kyle!" April spat as she crouched in the water and gestured towards me, "That idiot **** Aggie and I to do this after we lost his stupid bet! Why on Earth would you think that I would show ANY of your stupid, basement dwelling, no-life, loser friends my naked body?!"
Aggie poked her head out of the water to get a better look at the group and let out a yelp when she saw them. She quickly ducked underwater.
"You're so disgusting, you know that?!" Kyle snapped, "We're out here having innocent fun, and on the same night, you end up playing naughty games that turns our victory against the High Council of Fangoron into a nudist party!"
"And what do you mean "basement dwelling, no-life, losers'?!" The woman dressed as the elf/orc creature called out to April angrily.
"She means that you're all a bunch of geeks and nerds that still live at home and play make believe about dragons and elves!" Aggie snapped, much to the anger of the entire party.
"So?! What does that have to do with it?!" The assassin called out, "We're all adults in this thing! Doesn't matter what type of adult we are!"
"I say we should have your sister and her friend preform The Dance of Shame, Kyle the Merciless!" A woman dressed as a bard shouted from the crowd, brandishing a guitar as the many of the party members muttered in agreement.
"I am NOT dancing naked for you and your loser friends, Kyle!" April shouted, her face going scarlet at the very idea.
"Well we need to do something to help our party favors!" The elf/orc woman yelled out.
"I don't know guys..." Kyle said as he scratched the back of his neck, "I mean, I'm still mad at her for what she did, but I don't want to see my sister preform The Dance of Shame naked. I'm okay if Aggie does it, but April..."
"Good Lord!" Aggie cried out as she stood up from the water and glared down at April, "Is ANYONE in your family a normal human being?! Your brother is a nutcase that hangs out with mental patients pretending to be elves and wizards, and you're a pathetic goth wannabe FREAK!"
Katherine and I saw the hurt look on April's face as my eyes widened and Katherine gasped, surprised at just how quickly Aggie was able to turn on another person who was supposed to be her friend.
"You..." April began in a hushed tone as she tried to fight herself from crying, "You think I'm a... F-freak?"
"Yes, freak! And what's worse is you're a freak that hangs around with ME! What the heck was I thinking, letting YOU hang out with me in the first place?" Aggie shouted, pushing April down onto the beach.
Kyle raced forward and draped a towel over his sister's shoulders before giving April a hug, sending Aggie a **** glare that was shared with the rest of the party as April sobbed softly.
"I... I didn't want to be a freak..." She sniffled, "I tried so hard to fit in..."
"Hey, come on!" Kyle said as he sat down next to his sister and wrapped his arm around her, "You're not a freak."
April looked up at him with tears in her eyes and slowly wrapped her arms around his neck as they sat there on the beach, hugging.
The hug only lasted for a few seconds though as April soon stood up and wrapped the towel around herself, both siblings looking away awkwardly. Kyle's girlfriend, Daisy, lead April to one of the tents as I walked forward.
"I still have her clothes from when she started the bet. I can go grab them for her if you want." I offered.
At this point, April's body was in full meltdown as she began to sob uncontrollably, leaning on one of the tent poles as Daisy comforted her.
"That would be much appreciated, yes." Kyle said as he stared at his sister with sympathy before glaring and pointing at Aggie, "Just get that disgusting WITCH out of here!"
I wanted to say something to Kyle defending his sister, but I had no idea what. I mean, yeah she did something pretty terrible, but from what I knew, April was the one who was really being bullied. Katherine offered to grab April's clothes as I handed her the keys. She gave me a quick peck on the cheek as she went to go grab the clothes, causing my face to go red as a goofy smile grew on my face.
I was snapped out of my momentary daze as I heard the party chant "Dance of Shame" as they glared at a snarling Aggie.
"Ah, put a sock in it!" Aggie snapped, "Everyone here is a member of the "Never getting REAL Action" club!"
This only caused the party to chant louder as Kyle shook his head in disgust. That's when I got an idea.
"Aggie!" I called out, getting her attention, "If memory serves me right, the conditions of our bet was that the loser had to do anything the winner said without question. So, for your next forfeit, I want you to come out of the water and preform The Dance of Shame!"
Aggie looked at me in disbelief as the group of LARPers laughed. "You're joking."
"I'm serious." I said with a frown.
"I am NOT - " Aggie began, only to notice that literally everyone on the beach was glaring at her. Looking over to April, she shivered as the goth girl set fire to her soul with her glare.
"Ugh!" Aggie groaned as she trudged out of the water, "Fine! What do I have to do?!"
"Simple." Kyle stated, "You just have to dance while our bard, Jennifer, plays three songs in a row."
Kyle then gestured to the woman dressed as a bard, who began to play the first song on her acoustic guitar: Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back!"
Aggie did not look forward to this, as she awkwardly began dancing while everyone around her booed and made crude comments. At this point, Katherine had returned with April's clothes, and wearing her shoes. I would have asked why she only retrieved her shoes from my trunk, but Katherine bursted out laughing at the sight of Aggie dancing before I could open my mouth. Katherine walked over to April and handed her her clothes, still laughing at Aggie's pathetic dancing. I also noticed that a few of the LARPers were breaking character and filming Aggie's naked dance on their phones, which Aggie didn't seem to notice as she failed to twerk to the acoustic cover.
Once that song was done, Jennifer the Bard began playing the next song on her acoustic guitar: "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. Aggie groaned in annoyance as she continued to dance while everyone booed. As before, a few of the LARPers increased the **** by filming this on their phones as well.
Finally, that song was soon over. However, Aggie's eyes widened in terror as everyone laughed at the final song that Jennifer had chosen to strum on her acoustic guitar: Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball".
Aggie just stood there in shock as the song began. This is a slow song, and it showed as Jennifer and the rest of the band continued to look at Aggie with disgust as she began dancing awkwardly again.
As the song came to an end, so did the Dance of Shame. Everyone started laughing and clapping, and Aggie's expression was one of utter humiliation.
"Alright, that will be all for today, folks!" Kyle shouted. He then turned to me and said, "Now please, get her out of here."
"But what about April?" Katherine asked in concern.
"I... I think I'm just going to stay here, if you don't mind." April said as she picked up her clothes and walked towards the tent, "Have fun making Aggie's night an inescapable horror show, though."
"Yeah, that was pretty fun." I agreed as I walked over to Aggie, who looked like she wanted to die.
"Come on, we're getting out of here." I said with a smirk, "But don't think that you're done with your embarrassment just yet. Because we aren't done by a long shot."
We soon made our way to the parking lot of the beach, where my car was still parked. Once we were inside and she had dried herself off, I decided to take it a step further.
"Alright, you're still not out of the woods yet." I said, "Nowhere near it."
