Explain yourself

You struggle to catch your breath after the fright of a close call, but you manage to do exactly as he instructs and drop everything in your hands.

"I didn't know this was yours--" you stammer, but he retorts back quickly upon cutting you off.

"You didn't know that a giant pile of treasure wasn't yours? So why were you rifling through my things?!" You are certain you didn't do a very good job of de-escalating the situation.

"I just thought I might find what I was looking for if I searched through your belongings." You try to summon the courage to pretend you're behind a cause nobler than outright stealing. Finally, his slitted, orange-red reptilian eyes look less like they're about to explode.

"I journeyed down here where no adventurers dared to go because there is an artifact that I'm after. It's supposed to make you irresistible to anyone you choose," you explain in earnest.

"I want my wife to desire me again," you blurt out additionally.

The femboy dragon's claws flex, and his eyes light up in recognition. He points a sharpened talon towards his ankle, where you see an anklet adorned in shining rubies and diamonds.

"I think this is what you're looking for," he remarks while shoving his scaled foot closer to your face.

"How much do you love your wife? What are you willing to do to get this?"
