Friendly family

The next morning you find yourself alone in bed for once. It’s unsurprising, since Iris has no need to sleep. Once you clean yourself up, you head down to the dining room, finding her there with Maya, Anna, and Yura. Maya grins at you as you walk in. “So, I was right after all!”

You remember her comments in the throne room and roll your eyes. “I never said you were wrong, just that it wasn’t my main motivation.”

Anna giggles. “And yet, here we are, master! A banshee came out of your room looking very satisfied.”

Iris smiles, shrugging. “Oh I’m very satisfied. That was quite the evening.”

The girls all laugh, and even Yura grins a little. You raise an eyebrow at the little selkie. “Even you, Yura? Usually you hold off on teasing me!”

Yura shrugs. “I am not allowed to tease you sometimes? That seems unfair.”

You chuckle. “Ouch, ok, fine. “

Rachel walks in carrying some kind of hot beverage. “It’s funny because we know how you are, Josh. You’re loving, and kind, and generous…and extremely horny!”

You groan. “You too, Rachel? I feel ganged up on!”

Rachel laughs. “You love it and you know it. By the way, could you spare a few minutes to talk with me alone today? I have something to ask you.”

Maya grins. “Ooo, secret secrets!”

Rachel smiles. “Nothing special, I’d just rather talk about it privately.”

Anna nods. “That doesn’t mean we can’t tease you, Rachel! Master isn’t the only one we get to play with.”

You chuckle. “Phrasing, Anna.”

Anna winks at you. “I meant what I said, master.”

Iris laughs. “I have to say, it’s quite pleasant here. I see why you consider each other family. I…could get used to this.”

Maya smiles. “I think I speak for everyone when I say you’re welcome to stick around.”

You nod. “Maya usually has the final say on that sort of thing, so it’s up to you, Iris. And you don’t need to decide now, we have a lot to do first anyway.”

Just then Maya grimaces, and everyone looks at her. She giggles, touching her stomach. “I think it’s almost time…”

It takes you a moment to realize what she means. When it hits you, you look at her in surprise. She smiles at you. “Pretty soon I can call you daddy and it won’t just be a sexy thing!”

You roll your eyes as the girls laugh. Even Iris chuckles. “So, it’s ‘daddy’, then?”

You sigh. “She does this every time.”

Iris grins, winking at you.
