How does the explanation go.
You're a demi-god apparently.
"I'm from another world originally" you say taking a bite of the food "well...more specifically another reality" you amend as you chew. Jane and Annabel stare at you like you grew a third eye.
"You're...you're a Traveler" Annabel says in surprise. You look at her confused and shrug your shoulders a little as you don't know the term.
"You're someone the Gods brought to this reality from another reality" she explains further.
"That seems accurate" you agree "although I don't really know what brought me here. All I know is I agreed to it because I didn't read the fine print" you frown. "Oh...uh...fine print is a term for details in a...".
"We own businesses, we know what fine print is" Jane interrupts you.
"Oh...sorry...it's just some of the phrases from my old world are here and some aren't" you say apologetically.
"No it's ok, I didn't mean it so dismissively I'm just a little...in shock to be standing next to a Traveler" Jane explains.
"I guess it doesn't require a long explanation then" you joke.
"When did you get here" Annabel asks.
"I arrived here the same day I...well...bought Yvette" you hang your head a little as you're reminded of how you met Yvette. Yvette sits next to you and wraps an arm around you.
"It's ok John. I'm happier than any previous point in my life. I wouldn't change anything about how we found each other, because maybe we never would have" she says kissing your shoulder.
"So he told you what he was" Annabel asks Yvette. Yvette nods.
"Yes, he told me the day of the raid" she states.
"I was planning on telling you all, but...well, I didn't think it was important as we were escaping" you explain.
"It wasn't, and I'm glad you told us now" Annabel puts a hand on your shoulder.
"This does however explain why they want you so badly" Annabel muses.
"I don't understand" you say looking at her.
"How does magic work" she asks you. You think for a moment.
"I focus on a spell and force magic through it" you reply.
"Exactly" Annabel smiles. You look at her still confused.
"Maybe some more explanation is needed" Annabel rubs her chin. "The last Traveler to appear was the one who took down Wendel. He was well known, but after Wendel was gone the Traveler went home" she explains using the quote finger movement when she says the word home.
"It's a theory, but the Traveler either had a spell, or maybe he was a key for some spell, that allowed travel from one reality to the next" she explains further. "Before the world devolved into what it is now it was a pretty hot topic in the magic world. If someone could harness that spell, or get control of its key, then maybe they could travel to untold realities" she says starring into the distance.
"How do you know all this" you ask "and what do you mean the world devolved" you add.
"I read books, some of them are really old ones" she simply states. "As far as the world devolving we no longer have cities of technology like the days of Wendel. Now we're little more than medieval levels of technology" she answers sadly.
"I...I thought...so there is no where technology thrives anymore" you ask.
"None that I know of. Only the occasional artifact being found" Annabel replies. You breath out deeply.
"Man, and here I thought you guys would have a lot to take in" you laugh.
"So I'm what...a demi-god to everyone" you ask.
"Basically yah" Jane answers. The other girls nod their head in agreement. You sigh.
"So that explains why they'd want to expend so much effort to find me" you reason.
"Yah, you're hot stuff" Jane smiles and you smirk at her.
"I mean...in the sense of why people would want to capture you...not in how attractive you are. I mean...you are extremely attractive...er...not that I've thought about...well...I have thought about... ... ...are you thirsty? I'm going to go get you some more water" Jane turns to walk out of sight in front of Bruce.
"Smoooooth" Annabel teases the red faced girl as she walks away at a brisk pace. You look confused at Annabel and Yvette trying to wrap your head around what just happened.
Annabel leans in to you "Lets just say you have made Jane question her choice of forsaking men" she whispers to you.
"Oh...uh...should I say something" you ask.
"No, she'll figure it out on her own. You just have to be you when the time comes" Annabel says. You nod your head in understanding.
"So I guess the questions we need answered are who wants me so bad and how did they know I'm here" you ask out loud.
"Yes" Annabel nods "also keep eating" she tells you. You take another bite.
"They don't seem to care if they harm you in the process either" Yvette adds.
"Definitely not" you laugh and take another bite. Jane returns with a flask of water and holds it out for you to take. Seeing an opportunity to tease her a little you reach up and grab the flask placing your hand over hers in the process and hold it there for a moment letting your hands touch. You look up at Jane with a smidge of seduction on your face and thank her before pulling the flask from her grip. She lets her hand linger in the air for a moment before it shoots down at her side.
"Uuuuuuuh...no problem. I'll just be over here getting Bruce ready to move again" she says turning quickly and walking back where she came.
"Oh geez, looks like we'll just need one tent tonight" Yvette giggles. Your cock twitches at the thought of laying with three beautiful women.
"Heh...well just don't kill me. I am recovering you know" you chuckle.
"Trust. If you die tonight it'll be with a smile" Annabel coos at you.
"She's right though, we probably should get some more distance today" you say taking another bite.
"I think I'll hop on Copper and..." you start to say.
"Nope. You keep your butt on that sled mister" Annabel states "Otherwise we really might be the end of you" she adds with a husky voice. The girls pack up as you finish your meal, and Bruce starts walking again. You lay down on the sled with your hands behind your head and watch Bruce's tail swing back and forth above you. You casually wonder how you didn't see his tail before, but the thought slips your mind as you drift off into sleep.
