An in-depth review

The alarm woke him an hour before he needed to open the store as usual. He had a pounding headache and an aching back from sleeping on the floor.

Getting up, he saw the last message on the screen and slammed it close. The clothes he was wearing were different and more stylish by this realities standards and he knew his way of thinking had returned to normal, although there would always be some influence from that reality.

He also no longer operated a pawn shop, but an electronics and repair shop instead. A rather successful one too. He had the knowledge that of both realities electronic design and there were differences in the way things were done, but that wouldn’t affect him.

While on the shower he contemplated the changes of this reality. As always he never knew his father, but he must have been affected by the Plinket virus because he was several inches larger in that department. At least he wouldn’t have to change that area and would be sure to keep future changes after his birth.

What surprised him and gratified him at the same time was the passage of the 29th amendment in 2011. A constitutional convention was called and Congress eventually ratified it. The 13th was amended by the 29th to clarify that any male may not be **** into servitude. This made Simon happy despite the headache.

This once again made women become property of their fathers, at least until they were old enough, 25 was decided, to decide things on their own.

They also ran the risk of becoming property if they committed felonies. The federal government decided to put a base price, based on the crime and the number of years a man would serve for the same crime, put her up for auction. A man could buy the service of the woman to do anything for him short of **** as long as it does not violate the public health and he would be responsible for any laws she may violate. He would have use of her for the time she would have spent behind bars.

There was a second public auction house, since it was deemed that private businesses could not properly regulate such a place, that sold girls between the ages of 18 and 24. A male relative, in the following hierarchy of father, son, then uncle, could place the young woman up for auction at a federal minimum of $2,000 a week. The state could actually raise the minimum price if they wished. The male relative would put in a time frame up front that could not go past their 25th birthday. Some male owners even put in clauses the renter must sign that made them pay a certain price in case of pregnancy, that must be paid.

There were even private sales that had to follow the minimum weekly rate, just no auctions fees.

He new this because he currently has a nineteen year old blonde locked in his spare tiled bathroom, that he rented from the girls uncle. He couldn’t afford anything long term and has four days left out of the two week period, even with the base rate he paid because she was a little pudgy, plain faced, and underdeveloped boob wise.

I fed her two days ago so she should be good and she has plenty of water. She already lost some weight, her uncle should thank me.

Simon then had some breakfast and changed into his work clothes. Then he went to work.
