Haley wants a date

We made it to the car, and I hesitated before starting the car.

“This was fun, Hay, I needed the break and it is always nice being with you.” I used a nickname, but I didn’t want to trigger pet names, I wanted a genuine reaction from her this time.

“I feel the same way, Luce! I enjoyed that so much! I have basically just been at home and at work since…”

“Yeah, I get it. So, back to get your car?” I watched Haley for a minute. She looked off as if she was deep in thought, until she finally collected herself to say whatever was on her mind.

“Hmm, yes. But that isn’t the last stop. Look, I’ve known for a few years now that you’re les, and I obviously am cool with that. In fact, I’m finally ready to say I’m interested in what it is like. So tonight, you’re taking me out on a date! Not a night to a lesbian bar or anything, I mean a real date. Take me to my car and then come pick me up at my apartment in an hour. Sound good?”

My jaw dropped. I’ve been crushing on this girl for years, and now she asks me out. Wait, no. She didn’t ask, she commanded and I was still in the Yes Ma’am challenge! Well, guess I don’t have a choice.

“Of course! That sounds like a blast! Ok, let’s get going cause I am so excited for this! I can’t believe you’d never mentioned you were attracted to women before! I would’ve tried to pick a sexy little thing like you much earlier if I’d have known!”

“To be honest, I wasn’t ever really sure before. But something about being with you today. It started at lunch, and, I don’t know. I’m just willing to try it once. So, put on something hot, and take me out to dinner.”

The next 30 minutes were a blur as I dropped her off at her car and sped home. I ran inside and jumped in the shower, knowing I didn’t have much time to get ready. Thankfully Mary wasn’t home so the bathroom was free. Super fast shower, dry my hair, a little makeup, and picking out a nice orange dress I’ve been wanting to wear for a while now. I looked at the clock and realized I had about 5 minutes until I needed to leave. Sounds like a good chance to check out the app again!

Cool! A personal Customization and a blank one. Those will be fun! I’m gonna save those for later and go pick up Haley. I drove to her apartment quickly, and made my way upstairs to her door. When she answered, she looked absolutely beautiful! I also definitely noticed the shudder when we first made eye contact! Ah! This was going to be so much fun!
