Go get ice cream

Danielle and her friends ended up choosing to go get some ice cream from the parlor on the pier, Danielle grabbing Lauren by the hand as she lead the little woman along. Lauren couldn't believe the indignity of it all, the little woman only able to pout as she was being lead along by her rival and her friends.

Lauren hung her head in humiliation as she saw several beach goers and tourists stare at her as they passed by, hoping that she wasn't seen by anyone else she knew. But what really humiliated her was when a couple of older women cooed at her, one calling her a "precious angel" who was walking along with her "mama". Lauren inwardly debated whether or not this was better or worse than being naked.

Danielle and her friends, on the other hand, loudly laughed at Lauren's predicament. The mere thought of Lauren, a twenty-year-old woman, being mistaken for a young child was absolutely hilarious to them!

After about a minute, the group arrived at the ice cream parlor. Lauren shivered from the air conditioning as she was brought inside, the cold air giving her skin goosebumps as Danielle and three of her friends walked over to a booth and sat down while another one of her friends went up to place their order. Lauren, of course, was sandwiched in between Danielle and one of Danielle's friends as the fourth friend, who Lauren had learned was named Stella, walked back and sat down with them.

"Okay," an eighteen-year-old waitress happily said a few minutes later as she carried a tray of ice cream to the table, "I've got two strawberry, one fudge ripple, one banana split with the works, one watermelon sherbet," the waitress sat each of the orders down in front of Danielle and her friends before giving a big grin to Lauren, "And one Captain Happy the Clown for the little angel!"

The waitress sat a small bowl in front of Lauren. Inside the bowl was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a cherry nose, a banana smile, cady pieces for eyes, and a small paper hat. Lauren blushed as she stared at the treat. Did Stella just order her something off of the Kid's Menu?! If Danielle and her friends were going to drag her into a more public place dressed in a child's swimsuit, then they could've at least ordered her something more adult than this!

"Laurie, what do we say to the nice young lady?" Danielle said condescendingly, hiding the smirk she was currently wearing.

"Thank you..." Lauren muttered, not believing that she had to utter those words for something she didn't even want.

"No problem, Kiddo!" The waitress said cheerfully, "Please enjoy your sweet treats!"

As soon as the waitress walked away, Danielle and her friends began laughing hysterically at the little woman in the both with them as they began to dig into their ice cream. Lauren, meanwhile, merely blushed as she continued to stare at the ice cream clown in front of her, the clown's smile looking as if it was mocking her...
