Prison break!

This reminds me of many isekais. In a lot of those, the protagonist is actually super overpowered, and the joy comes from watching them just fuck up all the people who deserve it. While I still don't feel at that level, and boy did I not start even near it, I feel instilled with confidence. A regular dungeon? This is nothing. To hold me, they'd need some kind of cool magic dungeon. My heart is racing too. Any moment now, we'll going to bust out of this place one way or another. I'd love to see the king's face after that.

Just as you wonder how they're doing, you hear a rustling. A thud. Things are falling over. You hear a grunt, and then another thud. The sounds of metal on metal ring out across the walls. You suppose they weren't able to finish the mission stealthily after all, though you're not surprised.

"Got it!" Fang slams up against the door of your cell as she shoves the key inside. "But we better hurry!"

You run through the door and meet up with Delphi near Vivi's cell. Just as she said, the poor girl is curled up in the corner with a grey blindfold wrapped around her head and strange metal cuffs around her hands--like metal gloves locking them in place. You imagine it's something specifically for spellcasters. After Fang opens the lock, you run inside.

Vivi is about to stumble to her feet, but you don't even let her. Instead, you scoop her short body up into your arms.

She gasps. "W-Wait! I... This is embarrassing..."

You pull off her blindfold. "No time for that," you reply. Swiftly, you run back into the hall, but the thunderous rumbling of feet is approaching.

"So now what?" Fang asks.

"Hold onto me." After both other girls cling to your body, you take a deep breath and squat down. "And... Bunny Hop!" you shout as you jump a couple inches into the air.

Nothing happens.

"Are you messing with me?" Vivi stares up at you.

Dozens of guards start to flood around the corner. "There's nowhere to hide!" shouts one. "Get him!" says another.

You leap into the air a second time. Nothing again. "Uh oh."

"Uh oh?" Delphi asks.

They're getting closer. A few begin to load crossbows while the rest storm forwards with swords and spears. You run the other direction, knowing full well it only descends deeper into the dungeon, but you'd also rather not be cut to pieces.

"Don't let go of me!" you shout.

"That makes running really weird!" Fang shouts back.

Another dead end. The guards are about to skewer you against the way..

Your heart practically beats out of your chest, but you look around. Delphi hangs from your sleeve. Fang grapples your arm. Meanwhile, you hold Vivi bridal style in your arms. With teeth clenched, you breath heavily--sweat down your forehead. Then as you move forwards, you thrust with your leg using all of your strength, both in body and mind. As you move, you watch as the space around you stretches. It's dizzying. But then everything snaps like a rubber band. The world around you contorts, flashes, and an abundant amount of energy leaves your body. Though in the blink of an eye, the dungeon is no longer around you. It isn't the inside of any building at all.

The ground is far below... as is the castle! You must be at least a few hundred feet in the air. You can see the whole city from up here. Meanwhile, the girls scream in terror, though not Delphi. She can fly anyway. The momentum begins to shift as you reach the peak of your jump. Then, terror takes over as you begin to quickly descend back towards the planet.

You tap your shoes together to slow your fall though with all the extra weight it only partially functions. From your trajectory, you're going to land somewhere deeper into the city. You look closely. There's something moving below. It's Lala! She's leaping from rooftop to rooftop following your path.

"Brace yourself!" you shout as your landing nears.
