Alexis opens the door

Lauren could only whimper as the door finally swung open, revealing Alexis. The neighbor in question was dressed up in a rather conservative (yet slightly tight) scarecrow costume; an orange and white plaid shirt and a pair of overalls with bits of straw sticking sticking out of the arm, head, and leg holes. Her cheeks had been painted to look like they had patches, her lips were painted black to look like a stitch work smile, and her nose was painted orange to look like a carrot. In her hands was a rather giant bowl of candy as she grinned widely.

"Trick-Or-Treat!" Vanessa said with a smile as she pushed the humiliated Lauren forward.

Lauren turned to look away, not wanting to have Alexis see her as she let out a humiliated whimper.

"Aww, you don't have to be scared, Sweetie." Alexis cooed, mistaking Lauren's whimper for one of fear. "This is all pretend. Besides, don't you want some candy?"

Vanessa smirked wickedly as she spun Lauren back around to face her neighbor, the little woman turning bright red as she prayed that Alexis didn't recognize her.
