"Okay..." Tom started, "maybe you'll find this more interesting" - and he wished that Sarah was a successful rapper.

She instantly changed, no longer being recognizable as Sarah. Tom expected maybe a change in clothing or style, but not this. She looked like someone he had seen before in a magazine or on TV.

Sarah looked down at herself, then at her reflection in a mirror on the wall. "Whoah, now THIS is something else!" she said with excitement.

Tom was further taken aback. Now she even sounded completely different - her tone and cadence weren't at all like Sarah's.

"Sarah?" he asked hesitantly. "Are you okay?"

"Okay?" she chuckled. "I'm great ... amazing even. But I'm not Sarah anymore."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Tom stammered in confusion.

She answered "I'm Dej Loaf - or Deja Trimble. I guess your wish turned me into someone else, a real person. Nice!"

Tom was still trying to wrap his head around all this. "But what happened to Sarah ... I mean 'us'? Are we still married? What about our past?"

Sarah shook her head. "I'm not sure, but you're definitely not married to me now - Deja, I mean. We are something, though, if you know what I'm saying."

Tom looked around the room, seeing many subtle changes. Finally it struck him.
