She lets it go to voicemail

"No," Becca responded. "It's just my little brother."

Julie continued her story. "So the girl at the front was all like 'Mr. Jacobson, don't you think this is a little inappropriate?' He responded by saying that he didn't know what she was talking about." The story goes on with the student and the teacher going back and forth arguing about whether he was flirting. Eventually Becca's phone buzzed again.

Becca picked up the phone to see a text from her brother. 'I need your help' was all it said. Becca wondered what her brother had managed to get into this time. She texted back, still half paying attention to the story.

"What's up?"

"I can't really explain it over text" came his response, along with another shortly after. "Can you just come to my dorm?"

Becca groaned. She didn't want to leave. "I can be there in like an hour" she shot back.

"OK, I'll be at my dorm around then"

Satisfied with the conversation, Becca continued eating. Julie's story continued with the troublesome student threatening to report the teacher.
