Too late

The road was full of cars getting out of the city and the streets were full of people running. Some were trying to get provisions, others were escaping and others were trying to hide. However, within the journey of 10 minutes between their house and Olivia's house they barely saw one incubus. It seemed that there was still a bit of time...

Alex concerns multiplied when he saw the door of her friend's house open. It had been ****.

Carla looked at Alex with a mixture of concern and comprehension in her big eyes "It seems we are too late babe. Either she has escaped or...." She couldn't say that, she had always been a support for Alex and now more than ever he needed her. "She is intelligent, she wouldn't have gotten caught so easily"

"I have to check out, I cannot leave her like that"

"It's dangerous. Each minute we spent in this city it gets more dangerous. We need to go. I don't want to be transformed in one of those creatures"

"A succubus? You won't. But I need to get inside and at least see if she is hidden. Wait in the car"

"I guess I understand... Be careful please"

They kissed and then Alex went towards the house. There was something that was concerning him though, he didn't know if he prefered to find his best friend hidden or a succubus.
