Leaving won't be that easy, will it?
The Talk
When you've gotten some distance to Logue Town, you also got out of that freak storm, that had saved you. You had pulled up the sails and were now drifting within sight of your entry to the Grand-Line: Reverse Mountain.
That meant you now had time to talk about what had happened in Logue Town.
“I bet it was your fault, that the marines got on out tail”, Zoro accused you. Before you could question, how he got that idea Sanji got to your defense: “What are you on? Luffy picked a fight with Smoker and you were with me, when we fought Buggy's men, damn Moss-head!”
“And why wasn't Yuri with us? I bet she was with that marine girl!”, Zoro grumbled. By now it was obvious, that he wasn't serious, he was just angry.
This time it was Nami, who defended you: “Yuri was busy getting us on the Merry! The marines had impounded the ship the second we stepped off. Do you think Usopp and I could have taken out 20 guards on our own?”
Zoro continued grumbling.
“Do you want to tell me, what this is about? Who is Kuina?”
“Nobody.”
And so he told you. She was the daughter of the Sensei, who had taught Zoro everything he knew about swordsmenship. The two of them had sparred daily and become friends, with Zoro unable to defeat her even once. Than, after they swore each other, that one of them would be the greatest swordfighter in the world, she died. Not in a fight, but a stupid accident.
And Tashigi looked EXACTLY like her.
“This explains, why you were so grumpy... Uhm Yuri, why did I not feel like defending you?”
It was astounding how smart and perceptive Luffy could be about things he cared about.
“Uhm … yes … I guess that IS my fault...”
“WHAT?!”, the entire crew screamed in your face.
“So I think I finally figured out, what my Devil Fruit does. I can't just see, how much a person likes me, I can also move Affection around. It's not very efficient or even effective. I basically used up all of your goodwill to make a marine indifferent to me.”
“... That's why she just let us pass...”, Zoro mumbled.
Sanji got a questioning look on his face: “Who are you talking about? This blue-haired lieutenant? I wouldn't exactly call that 'letting us pass'!”
“I wasn't doing my best, because... I just explained why. When we did fight, I attacked with all three swords at once. I could tell, that she reflexively wanted to counter and was prepared for it. But at the last moment she instead went for a bind, which was bullshit. You don't go into a bind, unless you either can simultaneously get an edge from somewhere else, or you believe you're stronger than your opponent.
That's what I meant, when I said 'she let us pass'. She allowed me to push her out of our way, without actually risking injuring her. I guess I owe you... that said, you should not have gambled your friendship on the affection of who to you was just a random marine.”
Zoro: 52/100
Luffy: 60/100.
Sanji 70/100.
Usopp: 70/100.
Nami: 76/100.
She put her hands on your shoulder to reassure you: “It was about time, you learned to properly use your Devil Fruit. But Zoro's right. You shouldn't treat us like that. This makes me almost regret getting you a present.”
She handed you a box.
“For me?”
“It's not like I bought it. We're pirates after all.”
“At least we were chased out of town for being pirates”, Sanji said with a smirk. He had paid for a great number of supplies out of his own pocket.
“Please tell me, you didn't take it from Ippon Matzu's. The old man gave Zoro two swords for free already.”
“Don't worry, I swiped it from a grifter, who among other things claimed to be selling Gold Roger's sword.”
Usopp glanced at her nervously.
You shook the box. The object within moved around without any form of padding and so you got a pretty good impression of its properties: “Let's see: It's about 25 cm long, no wider than 8 cm at most, and not very thick, no 3 cm. It's obviously made of steel. A dagger?”
“You got all that from shaking it? I can only do that with money.”
“So I was right?”
“Not entirely. Why don't you just look?”
And so you did.
The weapon, because it very much was a weapon, was odd to say the least. The blade was normal enough. A simple, long and thin leaf-shape, which would work well for both cutting and thrusting. Very similar to what would be used for a spear.
What made it different from the tip of a spear or maybe a dagger, was what was below the blade: there was neither a handle or grip nor any kind of thread to fit it onto a shaft. Instead it had a very short cylindrical bit, that ended in a ring. You had seen weapons, that were supposed to be put on a finger with a ring. Sometimes to be spinned, sometimes like brass knuckles. In those cases the ring wasn't much thicker than the average human finger. 2 cm at most.
This ring was big enough for you to fit two fingers in there. That also meant, that it was extremely awkward to hold like a dagger.
“What is that?”
“Honestly, I hoped you'd know”, Nami said, “He just had that hanging there from a rope and I thought it looked neat.”
“It does look neat.”
You looked around. The others had lost interest and left Nami and you alone.
She noticed as well: “Tell me, where do I currently stand? In the general score, I mean.”
“Right now it says 76/100.”
“Wow... I'd never have guessed, that I was this much of the jealous type.”
“What are you talking about? Two points for me gambling away my friendship is not much jealousy.”
“You should have checked, before Zoro was on board. There's a reason I got you a gift.”
“You can't just leave it at that. What happened?”
“Happened? Not much, actually. I was shopping for clothes and I got to thinking. I gave you a 'let's better be friends' based on nothing.”
“It wasn't based on nothing. You gave a good reas”, Nami stopped you with a finger on your lips before you could continue.
“Just because it appears to make sense, doesn't mean it wasn't bullshit. I still haven't really gotten used to being part of a group. When Luffy told me to watch over his hat, while he went to beat up Arlong it should have been a wake-up call, and it was, but... “
She groaned in frustration and pulled at her hair with both hands: “I decided to try it, once we enter the Grand Line. New sea, new life. That's why I got you the present. Hell, I even considered buying it, but than I noticed this guy scamming literal children and giving him money was off the table.”
“And then I went and fucked it up by jeopardizing my friendship with the others.”
“No. I mean yes you did that, too, but that wasn't the problem. I mean it was stupid, but not using your Devil Fruit at all would be even dumber. No, my problem was, that after I told you, since we were not dating, we were not exclusive, you took me at my word.”
Nami: 80/100
Nami: 12/100
“Two things”, you started while holding her shoulders reassuringly, “One: I did not sleep with Tashigi. Now I'd like to claim, that it was because I couldn't stop thinking of you, but it was, because I couldn't sleep with someone, I couldn't be honest to.
Two: Even if it's dumb to do so, I'll gladly give up my Devil Fruit powers for you. If both of us are serious about it.”
Nami grabbed your shoulders and pulled you into a hug.
“I'd never ask you to do that! But for now please don't flirt with any more women, without telling me first.”
“WHAT?!”
Nami looked slightly embarrassed. “At the end of the day, I'm still a thief so if you can distract a mark or get an in with your Devil Fruit”, she stammered, now bright red.
You leaned into her, teasing a kiss to her cheek and whispered into her ear: “That's not the real reason, is it?”
“Fuck! We're not yet close enough for me to admit that to you!”
Nami: 82/100
Nami: 15/100
Nami: 20/100
That last one was similar to what Sanji had for you and what you had induced in Tashigi. Lust.
It was only at one fifth of what it could be and you feared what 100/100 would look like, as Nami pulled you by your waistband towards her cot.
As soon as she was sure none of the boys were to close, she shoved you into the room with a heated kiss and closed the door.
“What the _fuck _are you thinking, teasing me like that!”
She pulled your shirt up to get access to your tits. Then she wasted no time grabbing both of them forcefully pushing you against the wall in the process. When she started opening your pants you went to help her, but she swatted your hands away: “You're still supposed not to strain yourself. Doctor's orders.”
And she proceeded to absolutely blow your mind. Sure it was obvious, that she had absolutely no idea, what she was doing starting out; In fact you wouldn't be surprised to learn, that she had made it this far in life without so much as masturbating; But Nami was nothing if not quick on the uptake and she worked your pussy with enthusiasm that almost felt like urgency.
You tried to protest, but she shut you up with her lips, quickly opening them and working her tongue as well. And so you let her do all the work.
You came quickly; Nami was quickly getting pretty good and you had fantasized about her already.
When you came you drenched her fingers with your juices and Nami finally got some distance from you, though not so much, she actually had to stop rubbing your clit with her thumb.
“What was that?”, she was panting. Not from exhaustion, but with excitement.
“You just made me orgasm. Hard.”
“So hard, you pissed yourself.”
“You've never cum, have you”, your grin was the last thing your new girlfriend saw, before you slipped out of her grip, got behind her, pulled her skirt and panties down and bent her over her hammock. You expertly fingered her pussy, while you started to prepare her asshole with your tongue and held Nami down with the free arm. That was only for show. Nami was stronger than you and even if it was close, it was impossible to hold someone's body down with just one arm. But her resistance was also only for show. In fact she quickly got up to grab her pillow and bury her face in it to muffle her moans, as she had not nearly as much training as you had in holding them back.
As you felt her getting close, you switched from fingering her pussy and licking her ass to licking her pussy and fingering her ass and almost immediately she came into your mouth.
“What was THAT?”
“That”, you said as you helped her up, “was an orgasm.”
“No wonder Sanji is trying so hard.”
“I don't think it's always this good.”
“Bragging, are you? For real, though. I've been flirting to get my way for quite some time, but I never thought about what flirting was actually for.”
“Do you want to hear a secret?”
“Do you have any left to tell? Sure!”
“This was my first time as well.”
“What? I couldn't tell.”
“I mean I did get some practice in, with myself I mean.”
“I have no idea, what you're talking about.”
“Holy shit, I neglected self-care a lot, after my brother left, but just sounds awful!”
“Have I been missing out?”, Nami asked with genuine curiosity as she got properly dressed again.
“I'd say yes, but I'm also determined to make sure, that you'll never have to sleep alone, if you don't want to”, you answered as you too got dressed.
“You sound so determined.”
“It's been long since I head something to work for”, you smiled back, “I'm going to start training.”
You were smiling, but you knew exactly, what proper training for you would look like and you absolutely didn't look forward to it: Lots of running in circles and isometric exercises to build up stamina, chin-ups, push-ups, sit-ups and weightlifting to build up muscle and last but definitely not least training to improve your speed and reaction times, because even with your premonitory gift the likes of Sanji, Gin, Zorro, Arlong or Luffy could easily keep you on your toes and the people you're set to encounter were only going to become stronger.
The reason you dreaded all this exercise, apart from you general laziness, was your laziness: If you tried to build up your fitness on your own, your diligence would only last so long, until you'd start suspending the exercise before giving up on them. You needed someone to not only remind you to do them, but to **** you. Someone with enough tenacity and strength, that you couldn't get rid of them.
You needed to ask Zorro for help.
As soon you stepped onto the deck a hand wrapped around your torso a heartbeat later you were in front of the crow's nest. Your captain was holding you at (normal) arm's length. He had an unusually serious expression: “We need to talk about, why you are on this ship.”
You froze up.
“All the others have their dreams. Why are you here?”
You smiled, because you had an answer.
