Chapter 5 by Karmadragoon Karmadragoon

How will Jin proceed?

Better play it safe for now...

Well you know how they say; it’s better safe than sorry.

So with that decided, the very first thing I should definitely start off with would be some protective measures to prevent the Rulebook from ever falling into wrong hands and by that I mean people not me.

Dear God, I can already imagine what would’ve happened if someone like, say Hyoudou and his band of idiots had gotten hold of the book first… knowing them; they probably would’ve made a rule where they become the only 3 males on Earth and have women lust after them or something like that…

I felt cold shivers running across my spine at the former thought, considering how my very existence could end up in jeopardy if those morons ever lay a finger on this book!

So yeah… Before I indulge myself with anything yet, basically letting my dick do any of the talking; I proooooobably should come up with some fail-safes first so I don't get royally screwed over in the long run!

So after a good few minutes thinking over… I took my pencil and went straight to work...

Old Rule: Jin Tadano (me) is the sole rightful owner of The Rulebook. Meaning he’s the only one who can physically interact with the Rulebook.

Old Rule: The Rulebook is indestructible.

New Rule: Jin Tadano (me) can magically summon The Rulebook back to his hands from any distance, anywhere across the world with just a thought in case the Book gets separated from the owner (me).

After writing down the latter; I placed the book down on the table before letting go of it, in order to test this little summoning trick… but then I paused, and gave a quick glance towards the gathered patrons and waitresses in the building…

My brows furrowed in thought, before I shifted my attention back to the book and brandished my pencil again.

New Rule: Jin Tadano (me) can magically summon The Rulebook back to his hands from any distance, anywhere across the world with just a thought in case the Book gets separated from the owner (me). Other people cannot perceive this phenomenon and will completely ignore it.

Old Rule: Jin Tadano (me) is the only person in the world who can perceive and acknowledge the Rulebook’s existence, even if the book happens to be in plain sight. The other people will also completely ignore Jin’s (me) actions whenever he starts writing in the Rulebook.

There we go, that should hopefully cover all the bases on the off chance I somehow lose the book somewhere by accident, while also denying others from ever accessing the Book.

Now then… for that test.

I placed the book once more on the desk and released my grip on it. I then raised my left hand with palm facing the roof, followed with a mental command for—

*Poof!*

I blinked rapidly when the book suddenly vanished from the table (with a soft poof sound) and at the exact same time I felt added weight on my left hand… I shifted my gaze towards the source and surely enough; the book re-appeared exactly where I intended it to.

I grinned. Perfect.

With the safety of the Rulebook’s ownership covered up…

I gave myself, my body an inquisitive one-over...

Hmm… perhaps some… self-improvements are in order?

What's next?
