Nighttime Wander

Actually thinking about your four remaining subjects allowed you to narrow it down pretty quickly. You had already had some fun with Sarah and although you could call Emma, you thought it best to update her in person. That left you with Mom and Lucy as the remaining two but if you were to believe Sarah’s earlier words, Lucy should already be asleep so maybe it was best to focus on Mom for the time being.

She should have finished off having a bath based on how long you had been messing with the KDK and the earlier fun you had with your sister but before going off to find her, you quickly turned to your desktop and searched for a random porn site. For the first time, the website loaded without any issues. You had found ways around the porn blocker previously but all that extra hassle was now gone, letting you view as much porn as you wanted. The amount of porn you actually consumed the past few days was less than normal but what that time was now replaced with, was far from negative in your opinion.

With Mom’s first order finally completed, you felt it was right to reward her in some way to hopefully reinforce her good behavior in the future. The problem was that you had very few things to actually reward her with. Although a little demanding at times, you consider yourself to be a pretty good son, so you wouldn't be able to say you'd be able to behave better in the future. Mom also wasn't very materialistic and your limited supply of cash meant you wouldn't be able to buy her anything expensive even if she wanted it.

Again it came down to just doing something first instead of spending useless time worrying about it, so you closed the tabs of porn off your computer and headed out of the room. As you got close to the top of the stairs you could hear the shower still running letting you know Sarah was still in the bathroom, but unexpectedly you could see light pouring through Lucy’s door that was still slightly cracked open.

You snuck closer to and were about to peek your head through the doorway when you heard Lucy’s voice from the other side. Although difficult to hear over the sound of running water from the shower, you could tell that she was speaking to someone on her phone. Whoever was on the other side was completely drowned out by the shower but some of Lucy’s side of the conversation was clear enough for you to make out.

“...not sure on the exact date, probably the end of the month at the latest”

“...Yeah it's always been a bit of a boring drive up here. Maybe next time you could find time to…”

There was a long stretch of silence seemingly from the other person replying. It stretched on longer than you would have expected and just as you started to worry you had somehow been caught Lucy finally responded.

“...Yeah alright I get it, look I’m really exhausted from the drive and unpacking so I was planning on…”

Another pause from Lucy as she stopped mid-sentence. You were about to risk poking your head around the door to see if you could get a better look at the situation but the shower shut off and the noise that had accompanied it has now gone. You really wanted to carry on listening but Sarah wasn't the most subtle of people, so you expected her to make a fuss about you spying on your sister.

Reluctantly, you moved away from the door before you could hear the rest of Lucy’s conversation and made your way downstairs. From the brief snippets you did hear, It sounded like Lucy would only be staying until the end of the month which considering the date today meant she would only be here for about 3 weeks. However, she was talking to must have been fairly close with her considering she made an effort to speak to them when she was busy. She hadn't brought up anyone at dinner and if she was trying to get them to meet her family then they must be important to her. You frowned at the thought of her having a boyfriend before shaking those thoughts out of your head. You knew she was free to do whatever she wanted but you couldn't help feeling a bit possessive over her, especially now that she was one of your ‘subjects’.

You’d have to get more information out of her another time as now probably wasn't the best time to be asking her personal questions. After finally getting down the stairs to find who you had originally come out to look for, you headed to the living room where you saw Mom relaxing on the sofa wrapped up in her dressing gown.

She was flicking through channels on the TV and from the looks of it, hadn't found anything worth watching. She saw you as you came down the stairs and decided to just stick to the channel she was on and just mute it so she could still talk to you. She still seemed a bit hesitant to be alone with you but seemed to relax once you sat on the opposite end of the couch from her.

“So, I checked the internet and saw that you had done what I ordered you to do, although a little late I still think you deserve a reward for good behaviour” you announced.

“...You said that you wouldn't talk about this stuff outside of your room” Mom questioned with a hushed voice before looking around the room.

“I did but that was before you failed to follow my orders for the first time. By the way, Lucy has gone to bed and Sarah has just finished her shower so she won't be coming down anytime soon” you answered and Mom seemed to relax at that statement in response.
