Lauren can't shut up

Lauren cringed! Why had she said that?! She tried to explain.

"I... uh, just wanted you to know that I CAN grow pubes... I just shaved them off." Lauren explained.

There was a long silence as Mark stared at her wide eyed.

"Wow." Was all he could manage to say, totally shocked by Lauren's admissions.

Lauren blushed, looking at the ground! Whatever she tried to explain just dug her deeper. But, probably due to her awkward embarrassment, she found she just couldn't shut up.

"Well, I guess you saw everything down there." She chuckled nervously. "I uh... hope you liked it!"

Mark was totally speechless by Lauren's strange behavior. Lauren was just as baffled by her own humiliating speech.

"Uh, I'm gonna get a drink." Mark turned and walked away. Lauren felt like a total fool. Suddenly her cousin Katie put an arm over Lauren's shoulder.

"Wow, that went well!" She said mockingly.
