Chapter 12

What happened next?
Time to get to work, mostly
Jax sat on the couch with his dick out, staring at the ceiling, for ten minutes. He knew he absolutely had to get together with Laura again. That had been the most intense experience of his life. He wasn't sure if he should use his powers to get a second shot with her, since apparently whatever he'd done before had hit some perfect combination of aggressive and playful, and he didn't want to fuck that up. He slumped on the couch in a haze, daydreaming about what might happen with her next time.
However, there was a game to design that needed his genius. Once he recovered, he zipped up, went to his desk, and looked over what he needed to do. Laura had already announced to the other producers that she was the head producer, made up a task list, and sent him a prospective schedule. Yeah, she was definitely going to work out. He made a couple of changes and sent it back to her.
Then Jax went out to check on the programmers. He needed to pick a head programmer pretty soon, so he started by visiting Hannah. Of course he visited her first, she looked like a comic book superheroine that the comic artist drew one-handed. Tiny waist, totally stacked, and natural blonde hair that looked like a Nordic painting of a Valkyrie. He found her in her cubicle, typing away on her computer.
"Hey Hannah! What are you up to? By the way, that top looks great on you, it really shows off your tits!"
"Thank you!" she said with a toothy, perfect smile. "I'm just working on a personal project. It's a little game where you make ducks fly at balloons."
Jax frowned. "You know, you're not supposed to be working on personal projects during company time."
That flustered the blonde programmer. "Well, I haven't gotten an assignment yet, so I wasn't sure what else to do."
"It's fine," said Jax. "Why don't you show me your game?"
Hannah turned back around to face her computer. She described how the simple 2D game worked as Jax rubbed her shoulders. He thought about reaching down and massaging her chest, but he had work to do and he was still pretty satisfied from the "interview" he'd had with Laura. He listened to her for awhile. She seemed like a decent programmer.
Once she was done, he thanked her for her time and left. As he was leaving Hannah's cubicle, he almost bumped into Lyssa.
"Oh, sorry!" said the goth girl as she swerved to avoid him. When she saw that it was him, she blushed.
"Don't you mean, 'Sorry, sir'?" corrected Jax.
As subtle as the suggestion was, it rewrote quite a lot of little things in Lyssa's life. Instead of going through high school and college challenging every authority figure, she now had a history of acting tough around her friends, but always being respectful to teachers and bosses.
"Yes, um, sorry, sir."
Jax thought that sounded a lot better coming out of her painted black lips. "See? We can all get along with a little extra politeness. Hey, you've got such a great look, I think a studded leather collar would look great on you."
"What?!" said Lyssa, straining against the restraint that was now part of her personality.
"Yeah! That would totally complete your look. You should go out after work and get a studded collar to wear every day. Doesn't that sound great?"
"Oh, yeah, that does sound great," said Lyssa, not realizing she'd been appalled by the idea a moment ago.
"Great, and to show that you're really a team player, would you get a little tag to hang off it that says, 'Jax's #1 girl'?"
"Yes, I mean, yes, sir. I can do that." Lyssa was eager to get the collar and tag, but she wondered why her boss wanted her to do that. Did he suspect how much she wanted him to fuck her and treat her rough the same way he treated Julie?"
Jax moved closer and put his arm around her waist. He pulled her in and whispered, "Of course, you're not my #1 girl. There are a ton of ladies here who are ahead of you. But it's good to have something to aspire to."
He let her go and walked away. She breathed hard for several seconds, trying to get her heart to stop racing.
Jax's next stop was Sam's cubicle, but Sam wasn't there. He looked around and found Sam in the cubicle of Will, another programmer. He poked his head in and said, "Hey guys, what's up?"
"Hey Jax," said Sam. "I'm just helping Will figure out a graphics problem. He's never worked on a 3D engine like this one before."
Jax watched the two men work out the problem. As far as he could tell, Will was on about the same level as Hannah, but Sam really knew his stuff. It didn't take him long to figure out who his head programmer should be.
As Jax was leaving that cubicle, he almost ran into Alice.
"Oh, sorry!" said the cute brunette as she stepped back to avoid hitting him. When she saw that it was him, she blushed.
Jax laughed. "Maybe you should say, 'sorry, sir'!"
"Um, I can, if you want," said Helen. She was suddenly very flustered. "I mean, you are my... would you like me to call you 'sir'?"
"Hey, no, that's okay," said Jax. He hadnt even asked a question, and she was eager to please him. "We're friends! You can just call me by my name."
Alice blushed deeper, then headed off.
Jax thought about how Alice's behavior was so similar to Lyssa's. Did Alice have a thing for him? That certainly had potential.
Jax spent the rest of the day getting to know his team and setting stuff up. He didn't leave the office until six, but he felt very good about the project's first day.
What did he find at home?
