Scouting

A short while after the scout left through the holes in the walls it returns and gives me a very basic map of the area.

Unsurprising due to the second generation parts it's using the map isn't perfect, it's undetailed due to lacking communication equipment strong enough to transmit the entire Picture. That said it gives me a good read out of the land surrounding my tower. The Red district is the Manufacturing district filled with the corpses of forges and the rusted metal of engines. The Blue district is the commercial district filled with demolished shops and rotted sales goods from food to clothes nothing much remains of it. The Pink district is the Luxury district filled with inns, brothels, and all that the heart may desire... if it was even remotely still standing it seems whatever **** attacked the city took special care to burn that section down only a few signs and buildings giving hints to what it was. Finally the Green section, filled almost entirely with Hotels and homes as well as public works, gardens and other beautification works left unattended for too long to still be beautiful now only sad shells of what was once a beautiful section of a bustling town. The purple section is the gate somehow left almost entirely undamaged by the wears of time; unlike the walls around it filled with walkable holes and decay. The grey cobblestone roads that run throughout the entire town despite their age and usage are in great condition smooth and drivable with ease. Finally the tower in the middle, due to it's positioning and design it's safe to conclude that it was a Guard Tower for a mechanical guard ****. My soldiers of current as well as myself were a maintaining **** and security for the command and control systems of the Mechanical Guard, which means the Drones were repair drones for the Guard.

However as for the condition of the tower, it's a miracle it hadn't collapsed before and a good thing I ordered the drones to ensure it didn't collapse. As for the rest of the damage, the main beams supporting it are rotten but supported by Bronze Pillars to keep it from collapsing due to the added weight above it due to my other endeavors. The holes in the walls are somewhat patched with bronze by the drones to help keep the tower stable. As for the size of the tower it seems it was cut in half at some point with the upper floors and most of the 5th floor missing entirely with no clear answers as to where they went or what happened to them but the edges of the walls and floor of the 5th floor seem tainted with dark energies long unseen on this world.

The scout as given me ample information to begin expansion efforts on the tower and the town at large however I'll need to send it out again for threat assessments of anything that might live in the debris. Deciding to do just that I send it back out to look for signs of life and head out to see the progress on the power supplies as we're beginning to run low.
