Use the Exit

This is a small courtyard behind your apartment building. A wooden privacy fence surrounds the courtyard, with a padlocked gate to the alley on the south side. A recycling furnace takes up most of the western side of the courtyard. There is a door to the north that leads to the stairwell.

The furnace is about seven feet high, four feet deep, and six feet wide. It has a two-foot-by-four-foot hatch on the front that lowers to accommodate loading in trash and refuse of all kinds.
