Wakes up sometime later.

Vanessa awoke, her eyes slowly fluttering open. She moaned, blocking the bright overhead lights.

"Ah, you're awake!" A nearby nurse said.

"W... what happened?" Vanessa moaned.

"Oh, some disorientation is normal. You were under for two weeks while the scars healed."

"Two weeks?!" Vanessa exclaimed. "Wait... scars!"

Her hands flew to her perfect face in terror.

"Oh, they're all healed, you look great!" The nurse reassured her. Vanessa sighed with relief.

"So... what was the procedure?" Vanessa asked. "They install a tracking chip or something?"

"Oh no, nothing like that." The nurse assured her. "It would be easier if you just see. Come look in the mirror."

Vanessa rose, but stumbled. Her legs were weak, and her balance was off. It almost felt like her center of gravity was different. She stumbled towards the mirror.

"Oh. My. GOD!" She shrieked as she saw her reflection.
