Chapter 12

The door is wide open.
She goes inside.
{If She knows = true}"I don't feel welcome here anymore. Where's the door?"
With a lot of effort, Jen was able to stand up. It was already difficult to balance on the heels before, but the swimsuit weighed at least thirty pounds, therefore, all of her attention was drawn to not falling over. The worst thing was that the girl had no idea how long she had to operate like this before she found the keys. She was not even sure if they were not somewhere in the hall she was trying to leave now!
"Uhh, even if I can't get them off while I'm here, I'll figure something out when I get home. Priorities."
The closest door was found quickly, and the frustrated girl turned the knob without checking the screen. It was not locked, so Jen walked in immediately.{endif}
Beyond the door lied a narrow corridor, a contrast to the vast space of the white pavilion Jen was in before. The tiles got smaller and acquired a cyan tint, so did the walls. The lamps above were an unending radiant line that was going deeper inside along the center of the ceiling. Jen's killer heels were leaving scars each time they stepped on the tiles, but she never looked back.
In fact, her attention was captured by the familiar smell of water chlorinator that was weak at first, but grew stronger as she went deeper inside.
"Everything tells me that there is a swimming pool forward."
"And you are dressed for the occasion."
{If She knows = true}"What?! No! I'll sink like an anvil in this... sinksuit!"
"Maybe there's a way to make this work."
{else}Jen laughed and clapped on her steel-clad waist.
"Of course not, I'm not gonna swim in this thing!"
"Hmm. We can try adjusting our attire to fix that."{endif}
The girl witnessed the corridor taking a slight turn before leading to the assumed pool, but there was also a turn to the side. As her curious nose inevitably investigated, it revealed an average-sized locker room with two rows of double-tier lockers along the walls. There were wide wooden benches in the center, dozens of lockers all along the walls and an entrance to the shower room. The benches were all standing unevenly, and there was some random stuff like swimwear or paper litter lying around, but no people were present in the room.
{If She knows = true}"Maybe someone's swimming. Maybe they can help me."{else}"Of course no one's there, the whole thing is just for me!"{endif}
Does Jen make a stop in the locker room?
