Dimwitted Little Girl

"Miss Grande," John said. "Do you like your new style?"

"Huh?" Ariana asked, still twirling her pigtails. "Oh! Uhm, I really like it!"

"Well, that'll be $5,000."

"Five...uhm, I can't count that high..." Ariana said.

"How old are you?" John asked.

"Uhm, six." Ariana responded, smacking her gum.

"Six, huh?" John said. "Well then where's your mommy?"

"Uhm..." Ariana looked around. "I-I don't know!"

She plopped herself down on the floor and began to cry.

I can't find my MOOOOMMMMYYY!" she wailed.

Victoria, who had been watching in the back room, stepped out.

"A six-year old girl, huh?" she snickered. "Nice."

"So," said John, looking at the still crying Ariana. "What do we do with her now?"
