Victoria pulled John aside. "I think we should adopt her. After all, we both hated her old personality, so with this one we can mold her into an academic, scholarly woman."

"I like that idea," John said. He then went over to the still crying Ariana.

"Hey," he said, kneeling down to comfort her. "It's okay. Me and my girlfriend will take care of you."

Ariana's eyes widened. "You will?"

Victoria nodded. "Yes. So dry those eyes, and feel free to call us Mommy and Daddy."

"Okay, Mommy!" Ariana giggled.
