Carol's spouse is Misty

Misty scrambled into the nursery. Still dressed in her nightgown, she had very much heard the cries of her wife.

When the gym leader had first found about Ash's transition to Carol, she wasn't completely sure what to think. The boy she had loved was somehow now an older woman who could easily pass for her mother. Especially one that was technically the grandmother for May of all people. Which technically made her May's grandmother as well.

But when she finally gotten to see her after all the surgeries and other transition services, Carol was still the same person. Odd as that was to think right now, Misty pushed the thought out of her mind. Instead, her mind turned to making a checklist for everything the couple needed to take to the hospital. The last thing either of them needed was to leave something important behind and have to go back to the home while Carol was in labor.

Looking to her right, Misty bent on down. Scooping up a basket, her attention turned to her beautiful wife.

"Ready to go?" the gym leader inquired and got a nod in return. Helping her very pregnant wife up, it's out the door for the couple.
