Play the waiting game.

For the next couple weeks, things are different. You spend a lot of time walking around Avana, taking in sights you haven't seen before. Nothing erotic happens, which is the strangest of all. It's been a long time since that didn't happen every few days at least. It reminds you of when you first arrived. Though now, everything feels so serious. You hope things can go back to the way they were before.

All I need to do is stop someone called Demon King. That's fine, right? It's just like an RPG. This whole world is like an RPG, and the hero always succeeds in slaying the villain. Usually.

The only thing that brings you solace is how chaotic the household continues to be. Though the tension is there, Niki is still Niki. Eva is still Eva. Amara is still Amara. They still bicker and argue, with you or each other. Though you start feeling a strange nostalgia for the simpler times, when Eva would have her panties clipped by a giant grab, or Amara would be climaxing on the ground after just a few spells. It's hard to get into the mood right now, however. There's too much work to be done. If your party succeeds though... Well, a party is definitely in order. Drinks, food, music, and more. That'll be a wonderful relief. That's the goal you need to be thinking about right now.

Days pass by. You don't even know for certain who is coming or not. There are some you can rely on, whether it's because they're currently in Avana, or because they've told you in the past.

Obviously, everyone in Dragonhide Manor is coming.

Mistress Dajy, Klava, Raleza, Brizi, and Vodrani are definitely coming. Having a small army of succubi is comforting.

Lady Nyllia Tesgella is coming as well, and she said she's bringing Bill, Phil, and Zazra.

William Cresswell and his people are presumably still coming, though you're not sure how many people he's bringing.

Surprisingly, Fang volunteered as well. You've seen her show her skills before, and anyone's help is welcome.

Except for one. There's a single individual--a man you've struggled to decide whether or not to invite. He is a high level adventurer, even if the two of you have never gotten along. You think long and hard about it. Eventually, you come to the decision that you don't have to like the person for them to help you fight. It's not personal. And anyway, if he gets hurt battling the Demon King, that's his own fault, and the thought does make you chuckle.

So, you do it. You write up an invite to Sir Elyndar Imaeris.

There are many others you send out, though you'll have no idea if they're coming until they arrive. It may be none at all. There's no such thing as overpreparing for something like this, however. There could be an army of thousands around his fortress for all you know.

Before you know it, the day comes where your party must depart towards the meeting point.
