Though he hasn't proven to be much of a risk so far, and he's Tori's best shot at getting home in time. You agree to the plan and call him up.

Derek picks up the phone, "Adam?"

"Yeah it's me. Derek, I know this is weird as fuck but just hear me out. Tori and I were on our way back to her house when one of my tires burst. We are both totally clueless when it comes to cars. I know we've never gotten along but if you've ever thought about making amends, this would be a great way to start. What do you say?"
