Jason pauses before making the teleport jump and looks back at the new girl behind the counter. Jessica is holding back tears and trying to do her job. He thinks for a moment. "This girl was just happily reading alone to her thoughts before I turned her into a pet" he thinks. His gut churns before remembering all of reality warps at his command. This is what life is now, and he is the author. Surely that entitles him, but leaving things here won't do.

Sitting down again Jason continues to write.

Another beam extends to the ground. Her arms are outstretched to the sides, chained to the posts. Finally, a metal collar sits locked around her neck forcing her neck to arch up. A final bar rises from the floor to keep it stationary. She looks up at Jason and moos, a solitary tear running down her face. Seeing her in this helpless state, Jason feels a rise in his pants.
