Stay In Playroom

Percy noticed Alice seemed very eager to visit the library, but since he didn't want to leave the plans he had prepared, he had to turn her attention away from the library. And even though he knew it would be good to let her do what she wanted, Percy chose his own enjoyment over Alice's happiness.

"Alright let's go... we are going to play some games..." - Percy said cheerfully, trying to get Alice's attention. But while she kept staring st the entrance of the library, Alice hesitated of what she wanted to do.

"B-but... i- okay..." - Alice replied nervously, as she wanted to go to the library, but realized she wasn't getting the chance to do this time. So with the hope of visiting that library in the near future, Alice turned her attention to Percy, who was trying to show her the playroom with a forced smile.

Alice was quite disappointed, and even slightly upset at Percy, when she saw where he was planning the two of them to have fun. Alice noticed that this playroom was probably used by orcs to have fun, most of the furniture was dirty, and even damaged from how rough the orcs played, and it definitely wasn't a pleasant sight for Alice, which killed her excitement almost inmediately.

"So, do you want to a play a game?" - Percy asked with a forced cheerful smile, trying to convince Alice to be part of his plan. She didn't like the idea of spending time with Percy in this room, and not the library where she could read far more interesting books. But although she didn't have high expectations for this, Alice quickly got curious to see what kind of games they were going to plan.

Alice had rarely seen a magical game device in the past, but she inmediately recognized it now, and she couldn't help but get excited. So even though it wasn't as exciting as going to the library for her, Alice didn't hesitate any longer, and accepted Percy's idea, specially after seeing they were playing a combat game, that Alice remembed her sister liked a lot when they were younger.

"Alright then, prepare to get your ass kicked..." - Percy said with a playful, but slightly malicious tone, after chuckling to see Alice was down to play with him. She wasn't scared by his threats though, and it only encouraged him to fight him in a virtual game, even though she wasn't sure if she knew how to play.

Percy and Alice both grabbed a controller, she just stood up to not sit on the filthy couch, but she was definitely determined to battle Percy, and hopefully beat him at this game. They didn't waste any time, they quickly picked their characters, Percy chose his favorite demon fighter, and Alice chose a elven warrior, which was also canonically a demon killer. And with both players ready, Percy and Alice started their match, which they expected to be competitive and intense, but also quick and fun.

When the game started, Alice got nervous, as she didn't know how to play, but since Percy wasn't that experienced either, the start wasn't very interesting. The demon king did remember a couple things from watching his orcs play this game, so after fiddling with the controller for a while, he discovered a few move, that he used to inflict decent damage to Alice. Although she did the same, so it was a pretty balanced match, but tense one as it was just one round for the victory.

Alice was a little uncomfortable by all the sounds Percy was doing, as he was clearly trying his hardest to beat her. But while she tried to ignore this, Alice focused on doing as much damage as she could to Percy's character, which didn't work that well. Percy knew how to play smart, and time his attacks, so he dodged, or blocked most of Alice's attacks with ease, and even landing a couple hits on her.

But what Percy didn't know was a fatal mistake, because he wasn't aware of the special stats some of the characters have. Luckily for Alice, her character was a direct counter to Percy's, which meant she could do more damage to him with less attacks, but he couldn't do the same. This meant that, even though Alice wasn't good at hitting Percy, when she did land an attack on him, she did massive damage, which he didn't notice until he was at very low health.

"What??" - Percy exclaimed, genuinely surprised, after seeing how he was defeated by Alice, even though it seemed like she didn't know what she was doing in this game. He had a hard time processing this, but while Percy tried to understand how Alice beat him with less attacks than him, she took her victory with cheers, and even some mocking to the demon king.

The loss made Percy visibly upset, but he was actually impressed, and quite proud of Alice for beating him, even though he still didn't know how. So as Alice celebrated her victory, Percy chuckled, and thought of a way to congratulate her, and maybe even challenge her to another match, or try to deny her victory.
