Miranda wants to talk to you

As you sit there watching the in-flight movie, something about a cat and dog, you weren't really paying attention, you ponder about whether to call Miranda on what she's doing. Suddenly you feel a presence by your side, looking up you see it's Miranda, you quickly pull out your headphones, "Hey, can we talk?" she asks softly, you nod and stand up, Miranda leads you to a quiet section of the plain, you can feels the eyes of everyone around you burning into your flesh as you get to be near the hottest girl in school.

"What did you want to talk about?" you ask, once out of sight of everyone.

"I just..." Miranda starts, "I'm sorry for the way I treated you at lunch" she says softly, well this was quite the turn around.

"You really hurt me you know?" you reply softly.

"I know, you hurt me as well, I was angry, I just wanted to get revenge. I'm sorry"

"So we're even then?" you ask cautiously, Miranda nods, "Can I have my friend back then?" you ask.
