Visit the ice cream parlor

The ice cream parlor always is a nice place to visit. You greet the young woman who works there friendly and order a ball of ice cream. While you enjoy your ice cream you hear the young woman getting a call on her mobile phone. Then she looks troubles and when the call is over she talks to her boss worried. You try to listen, what has happened.

„I’m sorry, Cindy, but I can’t do without you,“ the owner of the ice cream parlor answers his employee, „since Alice is not here you are my only worker fort he weekend.“

„But I need just an hour,“ the young woman called Cindy begs, „if my project is damaged somehow I can forget my graduation.“

„Yes, I know,“ he shop owner says, „but it’s almost summer. I can‘t work here alone. There are too much customers.“

This sounds indeed problematic to you. You could go over and offer your help. But you don’t have to, even if it would be polite.
