BSW Day 7 - Go play

You are not prepared to play against Beth... you got distracted by Karin, but suddenly it's time! Lunch and everything just flew by. You are wearing your new pink uniform, and Beth is there, behind Adella... this will be rough, but you can win! You have Lara on your team.

But it is hard... Beth seems much more comfortable playing against you than you are playing against her. By the half your team is down by two. Your defenders can't stand up to Adella's brutality, and you and Lara can't get anything done with Beth and Duni on you all the time.

You make a clever play to distract them and get the ball to Aki, but Aki gets stopped by Ingrid and Riona.

You and Lara finally cut loose and attack all-out. You are sure you will both get carded, but you don't... and you do manage to score, but you are still down one when the game ends.

Your team lost, but it wasn't a terrible game, just... hard. It felt like Adella's team had a plan to deal with you, but you and Tiff did not have a plan to deal with them.

Adella gets an interview with Moxxi and Lulu, the announcers, while you have to face the disappointment of your team. But it was just a practice game, and no one seems to blame you for the loss, so that is good.

Tiff gives you some critiques, and you and the others are going to clean up and go eat dinner, but you see Beth... she's talking to Karin by one of the other fields.

You curiously go to join them.

"Ah," Beth says, giving you an aristocratic look as you approach. "There you are. You see, Karin? It's ever so inconvenient when one's help is not on the same team."

"Help?" you say stupidly.

Karin tosses her hair. "You're lucky to have help here at all. My maid doesn't play soccer," she complains.

"Maid?" You balk.

"Oh yes," Beth says quickly, pinching your butt hard enough to leave a mark. She wants you to play along. "Riley sees to my every need."

"Yes. I do that," you say.

Karin sighs dramatically and walks off, complaining about how bad dinner will probably be. Beth smiles at you and goes with her.

Beth is... on top of things. She has already befriended Karin! She's pretending to be fancy like Karin, and that you are like... her servant. Kind of weird, but you have to trust Beth.

You join up with your team and eat dinner, then sit down after with Lara and Tiff to talk about what went wrong in the game. You have some ideas for how to correct your weaknesses, but it will be hard. Your team is not bad, but... this will still be difficult.

After you get back to the cabin, you plan to enjoy watching your teammates get ready for bed, but Beth texts you.

She wants you to meet her.
